Faded Spade paper cards? (1 Viewer)

So I was one of the lucky few that got to play in the WPT $5m free roll and along with that got some nice swag from the gold folks at WPT. One of the items I received was a deck of Faded Spade playing cards. I was initially thinking
Wow a special edition set of plastic playing cards (mind you the other goodies I got were of good quality; jacket, backpack, hat, water bottle) but to my demise I found the deck to only be paper cards.. boooo. But anyway is Faded Spade known for making paper cards in addition to their plastic line? My guess is WPT asked for special decks to be supplied for this purpose and Faded Spaded didn’t want to go the extra mile to provide quality cards for this limited run.

I suspect novelty deck produced to be used as freebe.
Mind that FS do not own any plant or workshop so they were made God knows where (China most likely)

Horrible business decision, impressively bad. Throw a massive freeroll advertised by all major influencers, and then give away shit products branded like your premium products.

They've been making paper cards for years. A game called Meta Zoo along with WPT branding & a Chipco partnership.
