Not Mine Fake Nevada Jack's (1 Viewer)

Definitely ceramics, but really hard to tell the color differences referenced given the few clear pics of any chip faces. 16c each shipped is a pretty good deal on any ceramics.

These don't appear to have the marbled/mottled rolling edges, and they do look like they are lighter shades, with yellow spots instead of gold ... so yeah, they could be fakes. Chinese factories will make about anything, and the lowball price makes some sense if so......

Always thought that set was a weird one to fake. Why not just make some killer chips? I guess you'd have to pay an artist, but still.

Just remember that every time someone buys (or even shares) these fakes, Gene from ABC (an advertiser here) loses money.
You're probably better off pointing out that they are probably fake and to stay away.

Because Gene owns the NJ name and chip design. Buy fake NJ chips and support the thieves making them and stealing from our friend.
Btw, I really miss my NJ chips :(

I owned like 1200 of them at one point. Sold them. This is when they were really cheap. Something like .40 per chip. I sold them all to one person at cost because I was purchasing my first hotstamped ASM set (that I no longer ow) Purchased more, sold them again (to a friend this time, lol).

I remember you doing all of that from the first site I was on (don't remember the name since I haven't been there for years). Your chips were the reason I found the NJ chips.

that's awesome. Homepokertourney.com Sites dead for the most part.

I owned around 1200 of these and 1200 of the Desert Sands chips. Used both for about a year or two and sold them for at cost (made a few dollars on the Nevada jacks cuz I got about half of them for .25 a chip). When I sold the Desert Sand chips I lost a little bit. Overall it broke even.

Both sets are just beautiful.

I do really like the concept of the Desert Sands. Just wish the denom was a bit bigger. I really like the Saloon Series from Necada Jack, but still waiting on a bit of a price break for them before I pull the trigger.

Always like the Desert Sands chips; larger denom and aligned edges would have really put them over the top.
