Samples desired. Paulson preferred, BCC ok too, both would be great. In general it seems the Paulsons are more numerous and easier to obtain than BCC, which is the only reason for my preference. The chips are readily available in the denominations I want (5c, 10c, 25c, 50c, $1, $5), and they are clays.

I am starting up a dealers choice micro cash game and I'm not ready for full blown customs yet, china clays are just okay, and it seems these chips might fill the gap until I can get the customs. I have some wonderful ideas for a custom ceramic set, and a pretty good idea or two for a CPC set also, but I need my game to take off first.

If I like the samples, then my next wanted ad will be for several hundred Fan of Cards chips. But, SAMPLES FIRST!

I don't have a lot but I have a few samples of Paulson and BCC Fan of Cards you can check out. PM me your address and I'll get these out to you.

Pretty sure Apache is still selling sample sets of the Paulsons.
And if you know where I can find some $5's, let me know.

According to homepokertourney, a big set of these was a little under a buck a chip when they were available. I guess they do not have the appeal of typical Paulsons and have appreciated zero percent in the last ten years.

Giant inlays, solid colors, and mostly smaller denominations (from what I've seen) is probably some of the reasons their price tag is a bit lower...

Some of the other members here could give you better details.

I got a few of these today. Thanks Godzilla28. The Paulsons are the slickest clay chips I've ever had. I like that the BCC are less slick. I like that the Paulsons are heavier and have a more satisfying sound. But for 50-75 cents a chip, they are hard to beat. Once I get my table fixed up and try to get a game going, I'll try to get some chips, and I may put out the S.O.S.

If you happen to find a whole bunch of the fan of cards chips, like more than you need, let me know.

I've always been interested in obtaining a little set of these too.

If you find a large set and want to go halvsies or something, I could be totally game for that :)

Not trying to hijack, but was gonna post for a rack of 25c Fan of Cards. Happy to contribute if a set emerges.

There's a large set on eBay, but at $1313 for 675 chips it looks a little pricey - not quite the 50-75c per chip quoted above...

Yeah that's a bit above what anyone should reasonably pay. I would possibly do $1 a chip. Not too much above that. Most people here are gracious enough to sell around or under reasonable price because they know we all trade each other's sets back and forth lol

Shit, I couldn't even give away these chips back in April. I was at $0.60 each for Paulson and $0.40 each for BCC, and I feel like I even settled on OBOs.

I ended up with a couple of racks, I think - quarters and dollars? No idea why I didn't go for the Paulson $5's too. There's one guy on eBay who has been trying to sell a barrell of Paulson $5's for $60, for months and months and months. I guess eBay doesn't charge you to re-list overpriced stuff, so it can stay up there forever?

Yours were pretty filthy, and you pushed them out the door within a week. I'm sure you could have gotten more if, if you wanted to, if were patient, but that's not really how you were approaching it.
For what it's worth, Paulson Fan of Cards were the first chips I bought on this site. I paid about 55 cents each for a fairly unplayable lot of 180 chips - I think that's about as low as they'll go, but if condition and breakdown aren't an issue, I think they can sell for quite a bit more.

@FDLmold did you find a set of these or you just have some samples to play with?

Just wondering so I don't snipe a set if one does appear :)

Just samples. Still not sure how I want to go on a chip set. If you see a nice set of Fan of Cards, grab em, don't mind me.

If I was to get a set, absolute minimum I'd want 160 nickels, 160 quarters, and then some 50c and $1 chips. Anything short of that would not interest me. Setting up a micro cash game 5c/10c no limit pot limit, 25c/50c limit games. I need the nickels and quarters and lots of them.
