It does look like that. I wanted to illustrate how many chips there are. The green is completely covered on an 8' tableEye of Sauron?

Do you own other Nexgens? I also got a sample of these and I have to admit, I was underwhelmed. I think my biggest gripe was the weight followed by the chip just feels different than any other Nexgen I've handled. You're right though, the price is spot on. I'm going to go shuffle my sample stack right now because I am a Nexgen fan and just finished packing up my tournament/cash crossover set for the post office.I am trying to develop my sets of chips. I have purchased about every sample set and more. I recently purchased a sample set and stack of Nexgen Remix Pro Clay Poker Chips from thepokerstore.com. I wanted to try them because they have a square edge unlike the chamfer edge of the china clays and they have a very fine knurl texture that keeps them from sticking to each other too much. I received them and they are definitely more plastic like than the china clays and they are very slippery when stacking them. I sanded each side against flat 600 grit sand paper for a few seconds. I also cut down the edges of with a 1000 grit sponge sanding pad.
After sanding and cleaning they are now my new favorite chip other than a nice Paulson or ClassicPokerChip. They are less than 1/10th the price. The factory edge of the Nexgen Remix was sharp. It was a clean edge with no flashing but still sharper than I would like. After sanding they are very smooth and have constant and nice friction between them.
Tell me more the sanding. Was it to tame that edge or roughen up the face for some friction in the stacks.Do you own other Nexgens? mine are so old I can’t remember that far back lol. Gotta be early, early 2000’s.Re:sanding
My lucky bees when new had a significant amount of plastic flecks around the colored edgespots. Over time they all wore away. I suppose sanding would be another way to remove them. After a game or two the flecks were gone and I alternated black and or yellow as high value chips to get them all in play. They were used primarily as tourney chips.
Picked these up from TRTKGB.Bought these off eBay years ago. I have no idea what's underneath the WPT labels but if anyone's interested throw me a PM

I want to share a quick video I made that illustrates the before and after of the light sanding. You can hear the difference. You cannot see the difference. They look identical.Nexgen Remix Pro Clay Poker Chips from thepokerstore.com.

Glad to see them being put to use! We may need to join forces at some point for a super-duper-Minnesota-Nexgen game of some sort!As far as NexGen’s are concerned my preference is Lucky Bee, 8000, 8002… No love for the Pro Remix.
Since I recently prevailed (as intended) in an auction and tabled the fruits of my labors in Session 144 (594 overall) I thought I’d toss a pic or two in the thread.
Good luck.

NexGen Pros? - Ok, we'll allow it although not a huge fan...Oh, also, this thread is of course open to all NexGens! Even the NexGen Pros!
I have plenty of black 8002I think I've finally settled on a custom label for my set of 8000s. Anybody got more blue, red, or yellows available for sale so I can round out my racks?
I think I'm good with just the 1 barrel I already have, unless you selling the entire set of 8002sI have plenty of black 8002
Good idea on the sanding, I took a very very low grit to just the edges of my 8000s and it seemed to big a big difference. Much smoother to shuffle.I am trying to develop my sets of chips. not all the NexGen feel the sameHow does the feel of NexGen compare with China clays? I know people always say get samples but I live in New Zealand and shipping cost of Fortune
If you are thinking of the Tina chips that are seen a lot around here and are from the group buys @justincarothers runs, those aren't China Clays but are ceramic chips. Ceramics are going to feel and handle differently than the NexGens. How does the feel of NexGen compare with China clays?
