Can you do an inlay replacement for a 48mm chip with an oversized inlay?

Probably not. That is, we can remove the oversized inlay and replace it with a label, but it will likely look terrible.

But once he does get to you, and he will, you'll understand the man's passion for this hobby and beyond that, as I've had personal dealings with him, he's the nicest guy you could meet. I was instantly humbled after meeting with him.

If I get some Scandias with shaped inlays (cog), prep the chips by removing the labels, and send them in to get labels printed and applied, what is the price difference between that and doing the same with round labels?

Sent a PM, looking for Empress $5k labels to put on Casa Grey's, as seen below (not my pic). Want to buy enough labels for 3 barrels. Considering others have already tread this ground, hoping that there's no design required and it can be a simple purchase! Let me know if that's possible and what next steps are.
