My annual food drive event and MTTD warm up event. Three tables. 26 players.
And... third hand into the $60 main event. I am on the button with
and raise. Get a couple callers and the flop comes 
I C-bet when it’s checked to me. Villain calls. Turn is 
Villain (who I don’t know well) checks I lead out for 500. Villain CRs to 1100. I raise to 3k. Villain shoves. Ugh. Any guesses what happened?

And the FT room picks up a new limit set. Custom labels are likely down the road. But even using as blanks (Non denom) are better than the orig inlay.
And I like the case too.

This blog not only highlights the game room, but also the entire venue. Anyone considering a trip to the Fat Tire Poker Room should check out this Drone video a buddy of mine took of downtown Madison. This video is pretty hard to come by, since most of this area is restricted airspace, but my buddy has special permission to fly here. This “Downtown” area is where I work, a strip of land surrounded by lakes, simply gorgeous.

Sat on a huge stack for most of the mixed games when I lost a big pot to local Paul. Ya, I wish I could have that one back. Ended pretty much even for the night...
Edit. Sending positive vibes to one of my locals “Art” who was involved in a serious car crash on his way home last night (3am). Art wasn’t drinking, and a kid spun out in front of him. That’s all I heard from Art, but another local player was driving behind him (saw the crash aftermath) and said Arts car was totaled, and that he was transported to the hospital (stayed overnight). Just thought some might want to know, since Art is a MTTD regular.

Heard from Art that he was fine, but his car did not fair well. Stayed overnight in the hospital.
I’ve got 63 (B.B.). And flop comes T63, turn is a 3, river a 6. Paul shoves the river for $100 into a pot of $300. Of course he has pocket tens. I should have found a fold. Against Paul, it’s hard to assume he has anything tho, lol.

Another great night of cards. We had a great group, and my new CPC fat tire cash set run-good is still in effect. In for $60, out for $373.
We ended the night with an hour of pineapple. We had a great mix of interest and ability tonight. I felt a move to more crazier games would have forced several of the players to leave sooner than we’d have liked. As it stood, we ended pretty early (around 1am).

Last hand of the night was the best...
Playing Pineapple. It's been very limpy or family pot-like (there's no such thing as a bad starting pineapple hand). I'm in LP with
, and I raise to $2.75 (after several limpers). I get two callers, pot is around $11.
Flop comes
. Checks to me, I lead out for $7... Both EP and MP call. Pot is $31.
MP is a villain that is crafty and very agro. EP jokingly said preflop that they were gonna crack my aces, and MP chimed in that HE was gonna do the ace cracking. When he called my flop bet, he muttered that he felt he might have something (this type of mumbling doesn't always mean anything from this player, he's a bantery kind of guy).

, and it checks to me, so I lead out for $12 (downsized bet). EP folds, and LP check raises me to $30 (with only $60 behind). I tank (trying to calculate how to get all MP's chips into the middle), and I eventually shippit. MP cry calls, and flips over

We had a guy last night drive from 3 hours away... crazy.

Yeah, it's 4 hours for me to Madison. I'm not likely coming up for a weekly game.

They are fantastic! They also have a Lips2Go store on Roosevelt. Day old lips aren't nearly as good, but if I come up, I'll bring you some!

Me and local “woody” get it in ($200 pot) playing PLO. I flop the nuts with a STR flush draw. It’s potted twice before me. I repot, etc. we get it in. Woody has a set and is looking for the board to pair, which it does. But it gives me the str flush.
