Fat Tire Customs Have Arrived!!!! Updated Pics!!!! (3 Viewers)

My samples and buttons arrived yesterday, thanks.

As to the set, individuals could probably quibble with a spot color here or there based on their personal taste, but there can be no doubt that these are some of the best standard sized labels ever created. Bold colors, great contrast, denoms that really stand out. Well done.

(Despite the mediocre beer reference... )

And I really like the chain on the rolling edge of the buttons.

Looking forward to the inaugural event with these. Is the HO coming?

Regarding HO, I hope he can make it in May. He'd undoubtedly have lots of great stories to share about Phil H, the WSOP, etc.

Not sure if you noticed in MTTD thread, but Kroon is coming for the Saturday tourney.

Despite the mediocre beer reference

Until I heard the story of the theme I thought the same thing lol. Wife is a huge fan of "Fat Tire". Her taste in beer is equivalent to her taste in men.........hmmmmmm, wait a minute.

Even the people at New Belgium Brewing in Fort Collins considered Fat Tire a throw-away beer for the kids at Colorado State, until it caught on big and went nationwide.

OTOH, they make a terrific Belgian dubbel called "Abbey", and a fine tripel as well -- neither of which sells very well.

We are, in general, a nation that celebrates mediocrity in everything but sports...

The only beer that I like that they make is the "Ranger" IPA. Its a solid beer for the price.
Otherwise I'll pass on the rest of them. Especially Fat Tire.

I'm not especially fond of any of their beer... But make a neon sign with a bicycle in it, and I'm sold!

I had the privilege of playing in the inaugural event with these chips yesterday. They are great! Next month's MTTD will be a premiere event. Thanks, Eric.

Thanks to @lnlver for making the trip to Madison to play. Epic fun. Here are some pics of the fun:

Gorgeous chips! (And neat story) - Though if I had to pick a New Belgium brew it would probably be their black ale (I think it's called 1554). But the inlay design + logo + edge spots, etc., really works with these.
