Favorite Stock Ceramic Set (3 Viewers)

Problem is I can't get a 5c chip which is really what I want... I would have to pay the custom price and not the .39 price on it. If I'm going to pay .75 I have more options....

I put a wanted ad out for nine dragons to see if anyone has any they want to part with :)

Use one of the non-denominated options for the 5c. That way, if the game moves up, you can use it for something else ($20, $50, etc).

I have 5c Yaks, but we quickly moved from 5c/ 10c to 25c / 25c. The 5c chips don't get used anymore. If I had my time back, they would have been non-denom.

Ok something is up!

I just received sample sets of Lucky Dragons and Valentino from BR Pro Poker and they are NOTHING like the Mosaic sample set I received.

These are excellent and not slippery at all.

This changes everything!!

Why are they so different??

At one time, BRPro used a different blank (suspected Nevada Jacks, but never confirmed). But they switched to Sun-Fly right about the same time NJ stopped making ceramics.....

Could be that some of their old stock is on the old blanks.

Not sure but I'm telling you right now...

Look at the shuffle pictures. Look closely... Notice anything?

They don't slip apart and fall 200 feet from each other in every direction. I know right?

Those damn Mosaics had zero friction. It was like NASA and all the top poker chip white coats got together and designed the perfect frictionless surface to piss me off.

"Mwuahaha, let's see Mike try and stack these babies. They will spin off into space and continue at constant velocity until they fall into orbit of a larger celestial body and become a permanent satellite of said body and be found by amateur astronomers and be named Sirius 4, the tiniest orbiting body around Neptune."

... A hole scientists...

On the other hand, it wouldn't surprise me that Sun-Fly has altered/improved their blank over time, and so maybe the Mosaics were old stock.....

So, paid for a Nine Dragons cash set on Monday. Should be in production soon; ship date by the 16th.

I can't wait for my little dragon babies!!

GOCC doesn't make Lucky Dragons; those are a Sun-Fly design. Available directly from Sun-Fly and from most vendors that resell Sun-Fly products: OWPS, PGI, BRPro, etc.

I'm sorry, I was talking about Nine Dragons the whole time.

Confused me!

Oh I forgot to mention.

My dragon babies hatched and are on their way to me. Hopefully will arrive by Saturday but it depends on how well they have learned to fly.

Some sweet Nine Dragons. I emailed Erica at Game On and was told $.70/chip is the PCF price. I have a friend looking for an 800pc set but was hoping to do a bit better.

70 cents is what I paid, yep.

Always loved these and wish I didnt sell mine... Not sure if these fit the "stock" part but too pretty not to post.

Oooh those are sweet. I think those were a custom group buy on CT awhile ago.
