After it went past my max bid, I ignored it. It's a great chip, one of the best hot stamps ever. Glad I have one. And for much less than $20.50 + tax + shipping.
Yes. My bid was around $7.50 if I remember right, since I was winning some other cNc chips anyway.you're telling me that this chip sold for basically triple than what it's listed here.....

The $1 I have always feels pretty hefty too but not like that!I got this new single this week. And it has nothing to do with my Rat Rod set. Anyway, I had the single out, in my hands, because un-slabbed poker chips allow this, and handling them has zero chance of affecting the value, unlike a lot of other collectibles (looking at you coins, sports cards, and Magic cards). With all the chip weighing I do, the chip just felt DENSE. On a hunch, I weighed it.

The hunch was correct. 11g is a lot for an inlaid THC, but anything at or near 12g is super rare. Makes me love this chip even more.
To be fair, your chip was used on the casino floor at some point. There is no record of my chip in any price guide, and only a couple have sold in public that I've seen, so it was never in play. My best guess is that my chip was made at the same time all the horseshoe mold $5k chips were also being made (different manufacturer), and none of those were in play either, although they are MUCH more common and sell regularly for $20-40.The $1 I have always feels pretty hefty too but not like that!
Yours is heavier AND cooler! To be fair, your chip was used on the casino floor at some point. Really should only pay around this price or lower for that $5 NCV. $120 is crazy. One of my favorite things to do while curating my Rat Rod is to collect a "full set" from a casino. I got three more from this set today, and the rest *are* obtainable (no idea why a Vegas World $5 NCV sold for $120 once, but it did). I'm in no rush, though, and certainly not enough to pay too much for any of these chips. Stupak's casinos had some great chips, and Vegas World was probably the best.

$19 might even be above my limit for that one lol. E in Chip Rack means about ten bucks, with a few exceptions.Really should only pay around this price or lower for that $5 NCV. $120 is crazy.

I’m obssessed with the Crystal Casino
I have both $5s and both $25s now, cleaned and oiled, and I agree with you.I’m obssessed with the Crystal Casino
I have over a rack of unique 25s now, so they are due for a photo shoot. I also have 250+ unique fives, also due for a photo update. I have about fifty duplicate fives, and I think it might be time to sell those. Some of them are REALLY nice.
Pretty sure those chips are not in chipguide. Nice!
Sigh, and if only the RHC mold had never come to exist and this could be a truly glorious THC. What a chip! Thanks for sharingSo it's a Rat Rod set of chips, right? I can put whatever chip I like into it? Good, because this guy is going in.

That is a leaded, textured inlay, Paulson chip. It sounds and shuffles identically when mixed in with THC chips. Its mass is appropriate. It just looks a little different, but that's not a problem in a Rat Rod!
