First Annual Mardi Gras Tournament - Might as well debut a new set! (1 Viewer)

We love Mardi Gras, and wanted to start a new pokering tradition, so we held our first annual tournament.
@T_Chan @Racer96 @_Blondie_ + some locals to round out a single table tournament. Hopefully next year we can get 2 tables going.
We dug out some vintage @desjgn cards with Mardi Gras colors from our stash.

Our last time visiting NOLA was far too long ago...2008!
At the time we were playing poker enough to go to Harrah's and play some $1/$2, but not deep enough into chipping to have harvested chips.
It pains us still... But at least we have a few other keepsakes.


I made dinner for attendees since the tournament had to be after work.
I learned how to make Muffuletta bread and imported olive salad mix from the Central Grocery...It was so good I forgot to take a picture!
I made King Cake for the first time, that one went over really well, everyone wanting seconds.

The final winner was @Racer96 with second place going to a local.


We have some spare buttons of this design, I am thinking of a giveaway then once that is done the rest will be available for purchase.

Well you know I’m a little partial to Mardi Gras. I love it you two. It was such an honor and pleasure to see you both at the Suicide Melee here in Florida.

I am going to get better photos to highlight how amazing your work is! I absolutely love these chips and how they turned out with your labels. I just have been hesitant to ever post them because my photos didn’t do them justice, but in honor of Mardi Gras, here’s a sneak peek.

Amazing! My advisor is from New Orleans and just enjoyed Mardi Gras, these chips are gorgeous. Went to a conference there and found myself at Kermit's Mother-In-Law lounge, real good stuff.
