It looks very well made but just so fugly and impracticle.

While I'm impressed with the use of dice chips, that solid wood rail would be painful as hell after a short amount of play, and I cant imagine how many chips would die being splashed on that alter of hardwood and resin.

What's worse than playing with dice chips? Having them permanently embedded into your table. Thank you, builder, for this travesty - it'll teach many other people what not to do.

Yes. The perfect table for your games with drunken, irresponsible friends who spill and puke on the surface. Saves your good table for the games with PCF players who know better.
Yeah, I suspect this is not as big a deal as some might think.
And was seriously overpaid even at $1/hr.
Just goes to demonstrate the general public's huge lack of understanding of what constitutes quality poker equipment.
The post didn't include a link or the price, so barring that, if it's not ridiculously expensive, someone who is ignorant about what a poker table "should" look like will think this is "cool looking" and buy it. Oblivious to how horrible it is.
One of our tables has a wooden rail and it's perfectly fine.
Part of the key, frankly, is to not slouch or lean forward and rest on your arms, regardless of padded or not.
