I'm sure those half inch cup holders will really come in handy.

I've seen this comment numerous times, and I don't quite get it. Do cup holders serve some other purpose besides keeping condensation from getting on the table, the cards and the chips? What difference does it make if they are only a half inch deep? I've been playing cards and games for nearly 60 years with basic coasters. These are a nice upgrade over those. Although I still think I would put an absorbent coaster in the bottom of each one. (Texas humidity) And other than not having a rail, that's actually a pretty bad-ass looking table!https://chicago.craigslist.org/nwc/spo/d/buffalo-grove-pool-poker-dining-3-in-1/7152506593.html

Clearly we have very different games For me the cup holders are to prevent my drunk-ass friends from knocking over their beers when they splash the damn pot. .I've seen this comment numerous times, and I don't quite get it. The difference is that a drink bumped on a coaster slides to the edge of a coaster, then makes a shallow drop to the table. You will rarely spill a drink unless you really whack it using a coaster. A 1/2" coaster however serves to stop the bottom of the bottle/glass, "tripping" the beverage and increasing the likelihood of a spill. What difference does it make if they are only a half inch deep? Yes, using deep recessed holders really decreases the likelihood of a catastrophic pencil spill.I don't think this is even a cup holder, it looks like an office desktop pen/pencil holder!

I don’t understand. All chips are worth $1... just like the table. The effort used to put the chips away matches the effort used in the table build.
It's cool. About $200 cool.
Forget about the cards....looking at dice chips all nightAside from the hard surface, I can't imagine trying to read the board cards on this table

I'd start with hauling it to the dump.I am sure they can paint the top or do something about it.
Seemed like a good idea at the time!Aside from the hard surface, I can't imagine trying to read the board cards on this table

The Greek proverbial expression is "for repair and disposal"I'd start with hauling it to the dump.
Maybe in Canada, but in the US burning dice chips is considered an environmental hazard.Easier to burn it. Don't have to carry anything.
