This is absolutely the final mock-up for the tournament set. I've tried to incorporate as much of what people like into it, but we could go on forever doing this. I will post it in the OP as well. The T25k shown will also be the same as the T5 because that die will be made for the cash set anyways, so it'll be up to you to choose if you want to incorporate a T5 or a T25k in your tournament set.
Thanks everyone. Now let move on to the cash set with progressive spots!
does anyone have a pic of the quarter pie Columbani chip so I can see the "spot run"
I prefer the sets without edge spot progression. The all 312 look good. With the limited spot choices, the progressions seem awkward.

Okay guys. Here is what I know so far. There is a $125 set up fee for each hot stamp denomination. I am personally thinking about getting some labels from @Gear and relabeling my set to look like this:
So, we could get around the small inlays by using aftermarket labels, and in the off-chance that others like the Four Suits tournament label, I would be happy to label them for those folks. We could place the order with GPI and then one with Chris, have them all shipped here, and I would do any relabeling and shipping. However, if that were the case then it would be smarter to do inlays through GPI and save the $125/denom set-up fee. This would also help those who are interested in a cash set as the chips could be relabeled with actual cash values on them.
However, if people would rather have hot stamps then I completely understand that and we could move it forward that way.
Look at the original post, spots and colors have been decided for the tournament set.My two cents, 312 gives the chip more color than a 314, you can really show off the colors with 312
These are going to be hot stamps.I'm confused. Would they need to be milled or not?
Yes we are on to the cash set now.Look at the original post, spots and colors have been decided for the tournament set.
yes, thanksLook at the original post, spots and colors have been decided for the tournament set.
honestly , the cali colors that you have to work with in this blue chip line do not look that great together. If it does end up as a Cali Color cash set my order will be much larger.
This is probably a dumb question, but are these the same chips as the Paulson Elite and PCF tourney sets?

No, different line of chips. More spots and colors available, different mold, and hot stamped.

The problem with the 312 spots is that it would be harder to differentiate between base color and spot color in stacks, so chips could be more easily confused while in play.
Hard to do with a VERY limited color palette. If there were even 3-5 more colors it would be doable. As long as the right colors are used I don't think this would too much of an issue.

Do you think there’s any chance for those of us who won’t be ordering a cash set to swap the T5 for the T5000? I’m in love with that cranberry! After reviewing the options, I believe it'd be best not to include a T25k because it would only add another charge for a separate die. Instead, the T5 could be used in both the tournament and cash sets, as would the T25 and the T100. With that in mind, it'd probably be best to keep everything simple so as to have the best possible chance of GPI approving the order. At the end of the day, we're getting multi-color, custom 'clay' chips. I threw a 1 and a quarter in the mock-up because I was contacted by some people who were interested in purchasing large quantities and, since we need a minimum of 1000 chip per denomination I think it'd be best to move this along as quickly as we can.

Right, I’m asking what the minimum will be to offer both the cranberry and the coral as a T5000? Will it be 1,000 chips? The only chip I don’t love it that coral. The problem with this is that people who start their tournament set at T5 will probably have some T5ks in there as well, and I can't imagine anyone wanting the same base color on two chips even if they are far apart.
