Non-denom stamp looks good.

Winner.

Second place.

This is eff'ing ridiculous. The tourney chips were finalized yesterday, based on a lot of effort and careful consideration of the actual chip colors, in this thread.

Now, overnight, someone starts posting mock ups of chips that look nothing like the actual chip colors we have to work with, and all the previous work goes out the window??? Do we seriously have to start this process again?!

I can assure you that the real color palette of the BC chips looks nothing like what is posted in either of these mock ups. This, and according to the OP, the tourney chips were finalized yesterday. The only chips that are in design discussion are the cash chips at this point.

Whoa. Firstly, I'm the one who said that the design was finalized for the tournament chips, but I made a mistake. I should've started the design from the very first chip up instead of splitting up the two sets. Secondly, I'm the one who will be in contact with GPI, ordering the chips, buying them, receiving them, and then reshipping them to everyone, so if something comes along that more people can agree on that will be less hassle with GPI then I'm going to take that road.

How's this look? I made it quickly, so I can fine-tune it later.

I do too, but I feel like it needs to go somewhere and I think it looks best on the T100 or the T5, but that'd mean putting beige on the T100 and that drives me nuts.

I like it - really nice! I think the $1 and $5 look awesome, and I prefer the Coral/Pink frac to the camel.

I preferred the « finalized » set from yesterday over this « winner » but I’m still ok with that one.

I’m not a fan of the edges on the T25 and T5000.

This thread has been up for what...less than a week? These kinds of "design by group" take a lot of time...and any design should be sat on for a few days to stew before fully finalizing, IMO. Ultimately it's up to what @MoscowRadio prefers. Nothing's "final" until the order thread goes up.

Ok, but these new chips from the last few hours are not representative of the real BC colors. There is no rich & dark lavender, no bright white, and no brick red. My advice would be to go back to the finalized set and suggest incremental adjustments, at most, rather than throwing the whole thing in the blender again.

I actually have no qualms with the "finalized" set in the OP, as I mentioned I'm only really interested in NCV thru $100, and the "finalized" $25 and $100 I thought were fine.

I think everyone is trying to use the colors that @ovo suggested which are supposed to be the closest to the actual chips samples he has.

I (personally) have a strong preference for NCV / $1 / $5 as follows (I've mentioned it, but not yet posted a picture):

I think the reason MR went back to change some other chips was because a few people (himself included) decided they didn't really care for the 5K. Plus, the NCV thru 5 weren't in the mix yet, which impacts the rest of the set.

I would personally prefer to see a cash set with different edge spots, but I understand that there may be a greater chance of the order going through if everything looks like it belongs in a set together.

For reference:

BC color / closest Paulson color

Antique white / Off white
Cranberry / Cherry
Sky blue / Sky blue
Day green / Munzell green
Camel / Beige or Metallic gold
Black / Black
Coral / Light Pink
Canary yellow / Canary yellow
Lavender / Rose
Maroon / Maroon

This is by far my favorite of all the iterations suggested. Still sad there's no 25k chip... The only issue I have with my Paulson Grand Cardroom set is a lack of a 25k chip. But it appears there's very little interest in a 25k so I totally understand why it was dropped. Good luck nailing this down. I can't wait to see the finish product.

I think we don’t really care of the 25K but 5K remains really important considering that this set was intended to be a tourney set first which would be extended with other chips to make it usable as a cash set too.

Indeed @BELGRADE , since we would hardly get to the 1000pc for the T25K, I’ve suggested to create plaques for this.

But T5K is really important.

Adding spots to the no-denom chip allows it to work as either a frac or 25k chip..... and also helps ensure that enough are ordered (both of those denoms are typically the smallest irder sizes).

Otherwise, carry on -- latest stuff looks great. I think it's getting very close to finalization.

I think this is what MR needs to see redone with correct colors....and the edge spot added to the frac

I'm confused (I know, shocker).

Why are these being mocked up on Paulson molds? These are going to be BCC flower(?) molds, correct?

Right, but starting from the frac up. The only edge spot that looks correct on the coral is white. That kills the rest of the flow in the set. So I started over from the frac up to make the colors work and not look cheesy. Plus, a pink frac used as a 25k in the tournament set clashes and is too close to the 500 and 5000.

These are the originally finalized tourney chips with the addition of an off white/maroon $1 and a coral frac. All we need is a 5k chip and we're good to go.

Re-mock with Superchromix colors

The issue with this sequence is the sky-blue edge spot on the black chip, followed by the white edgespot on the lavender chip. The 1/4" edge spot on the black chip is so light that it will appear to be white.. and both spots in sequence will appear to be the same color. In low light the hundo and five hundo will have problems with dirty stacks.
