Here is a mock-up that adds a chip with lavender as the base color. Black is the only spot color not yet used, which will still have contrast with the hundo. I moved the lavender chip to the 500 position and the sky-blue/lavender chip to the 5k position.

Ok, but these new chips from the last few hours are not representative of the real BC colors. There is no rich & dark lavender, no bright white, and no brick red. My advice would be to go back to the finalized set and suggest incremental adjustments, at most, rather than throwing the whole thing in the blender again.

These are the colors you should use on the chip designer . I have color samples of all except BC Maroon and have color matched as close as possible to the Paulson colors in the designer.

Maroon (don't have a color sample, so....)
Cranberry (Blood Red, but a little bit lighter)
Canary Yellow (canary yellow)
Camel (Beige, but it's a tad darker)
Antique White ( Off White)
Sky Blue ( Sky blue)
Coral ( Light Pink)
Lavender (Light Violet, but a little lighter)
Day Green (Day Green), but darker
Black (Black)

I think the NVC should have edge spots. I think a pink one looks terrible in a cash game with a red 5 and terrible in a tournament set with the 500 and 5000. Honestly that 500 alone would stop me from buying a 700 chips set.

For reference:

BC color / closest Paulson color

Antique white / Off white
Cranberry / Cherry
Sky blue / Sky blue
Day green / Munzell green
Camel / Beige or Metallic gold
Black / Black
Coral / Light Pink
Canary yellow / Canary yellow
Lavender / Rose
Maroon / Maroon

I looked over your choices

Day Green vs Munzell Green BC Day Green is in the middle, I lean toward the richer Day Green, but Munzell is close enough
Camel works with Beige best
Cherry vs Blood Red , another one in the middle , cherry is close enough
Rose vs Light Violet, gotta go with light violet, rose isn't bright enough.

Things I still don't like about the mockup I just posted:

- The maroon spot on the white chip might appear to be black
- Not sure about the lavender/black combo

So, here is an alternative which exchanges the spots on the red and white chips, and puts coral spots on the lavender chip.

I really think light violet is too dark to be close to the BC lavender. Can take another photo later.

The solid pink chip is the frac, no?

The best spot options on the coral chip would be white or maroon, possibly red. I thought the current preference was for a solid frac with no spots. Could also do a camel frac...

I'm not able to afford a set, just want a sample set. I got involved in the colors because people weren't using the same color palate , which is important in decisions. I am glad @superchromix had the same intentions, gotta keep it real ;)

Best approach for finalization is for James to pick the best three versions, and then conduct a poll for which is most popular among those who actually plan to buy chips.

Also the best way to generate the largest order numbers.

One last shot here and then BGinA is right, let James decide.

I love your mock-ups, @JoeBGo, but I just can't get behind the black edge spot on the T1000. That's my only problem with these. I really appreciate you putting in so much time and effort.
Hey man, no worries. Thanks for letting me continually throw my ideas out there. Ultimately it’s you that needs to decide what you want. I hope it all works out, I’d really love a new set of tournament chips!

Would you be interested in the last mock-up I posted in post #405?

The main challenge here is that we are trying to design a coherent 8-chip set with matching spot patterns and a total of 10 colors..

This is most likely the set that I would like to lock in to. The NCV works on both ends of the set as a frac or as a T25k.View attachment 171429

This one is good. Missing Camel from the set though.

I really like the red/camel combo for the $5, but white spots look okay.

I also prefer the $1 with darker spots, maroon is my favorite, but camel wouldn't be bad, or even black probably.

moving the sky blue chip to the frac, so that it would never share a table with the 500, switching the spots on the black chip to light blue, and trying out a coral/maroon 500....

Maybe its not posible with the limited colors to make a smashing 8 chip set? Some of the chips just seem to end up a bit dull when being forced to use camel as a base color for example. Something to think about at least
