Meat ups ARE awesome. This is pretty much the year of the meat up too. Depending on where you live there is probably one at least semi near you at some point in the year.

Yes, the game does run that big!! All the players want more red!!! I guess the compromise would be another rack of green chips. If someone can find me a chip set of the Casino de Isthmus with another 600 red chips and 100 green chips, maybe 100 black, it'd be ideal!!

OK, if there are ANY folks in your game that appreciate nice chips, and you suddenly break out the Zonk chips, even having more red ones like they want, do think they'll be satisfied?

Just look around. These are expensive, but they come on the market. Join in on the conversations around here, and once you have enough posts, post a WTB ad to see if people have some for sale...? Be patient.

So in other words, get your Porsche detailed, add some accessories, you'll be happy, and better received around here. It's a chip collectors forum.. We're gonna recommend MORE nice chips. Not more 'zonk' chips.

Trust me, I'd rather keep the chip set. The problem is I have a cash game I run which requires more red chips than the $5000 I have. I looked all over for another 600 red chips, but nowhere to be found!!! I don't wanna go with these but with how big my game plays ($1-$2 NL which plays like $2-$5 NL, and 2 tables going most nights) I am in dire need of more red chips!!!

Have you considered a ceramic set? It’s going to be more than pre-made plastic, probably in the range of $0.50-$0.60 each. But you will have a one-off custom set designed to your exact needs.

We have a game occasionally (every 6-8 weeks) at Bergs in MA, and the BBotB every March. I think he BBotB is closed to new attendees this year due to some venue change issues, but consider coming to a home game at Bergs some time. .25/.50 that plays like a big 1/2 or medium 2/5, no rake, mixed game, often professionally dealt. It's the best game I've ever played in other than meet ups.
