Got bored during the Denver blowout and moved some LED lights into the poker chest. I spend enough time in the classifieds but better spend a little more.

awesome cabinet but the lighting needs a serious upgrade
#1 must be dimming
#2 color temp 2700, 3000, 3500, or 4000 kelvin are choices (you have wood, so I would go with 2700 (warm))
(that blue 5000k (cheapest (home center) LEDs) looks like you are UV sterilizing the chips)
BTW: many LED lights now have built-in color selection (usually ceiling lights, not cabinet lights).

Thanks. It is a great cabinet. Not full enough but I’m in on the group buy deliverable late January so that’ll help.

These are LED’s I had running around the ceiling in that area of the card room. Change of colors…

The pic in the OP was just the brightest near white (actually a super pale blue). It was a little sterile. In the last pic it’s tough to tell but it’s a pale to not so pale yellow and is super warm. The purple looks like I’m a mad scientist or practicing witchcraft (cursing the chips - haven’t tried that yet). The red looks like I’m baking them, the blue like I’m freezing them, and the green like they’re radioactive.

The lights strobes (ew) and it breathes (actually pretty cool. We set the light under our table - search my posts for pics of the home build - in breathe - calms and loosens the room). The cabinet light also dims.

They’re holdovers from our sons dorm room. Repurposed to the card room and now to the cabinet. The price (they’re only like $25 on Amazon new) was definitely right.

Glad you like the cabinet. It started out like Mother Hubbard’s but thanks to the classifieds, can feed our crew a little better almost every time the mailman stops by. Nowadays he says “more chips?” whenever a package comes for me. They’re usually for one of our daughters.

Stay well and thanks for the reply.

Quite awhile back we played with exclusively. I don’t have the heart to part with them and frankly there’s not a huge market. They’re part of my “vintage collection.”

@merkong
What do you have marked on the ends of the trays? I see blue and white tags.

Have you ever put a list together of all the chip sets (quantities/denoms) you have used in your game? I like your micro game setup you have shared on other threads.

Thanks.

The racks with the stickers can hold a barrel of the China Clays. Regular racks only hold 19 of these thick little buggers.

That cabinet is so cool. Just the simple fact it's big enough that the chips have their own Kyrie space and the cabinet doesn't seem crowded/full.

Appreciate all the pictures of it as well.

I do a lot of rearranging. Top left L to R Frogtown Card Club custom labeled CC Greeks (pending Sticker Mule labels) and Godfather Club custom label CC Greeks (art by @TheOffalo). Middle shelf 43mm Tina Card Mold Bellagio no mold via group buy. Bottom shelf Lewis University Flyers Men’s Lacrosse custom label (art pending) CC Greek cash set and 3 racks of leftover CC Greeks.

Right side: Top shelf (hiding) 600 chip CC Greek STT set. Rack of Lake Elsinore THC snappers on top of Treasure Island Tina Card Mold Heads up rack. Middle shelf set Sunfly 700 chip STT/Cash set next to 800 chip CC Greek Limit set. Bottom shelf: Rack of black Nexgen Lucky Bee’s on top of rack of DDLM Ceramics and a couple of barrels of THC’s. On the right two racks of randos under some vintage clay All-Ins.
