Harvest Pron (3 Viewers)

Without poker rooms, trying to harvest nowadays directly off of table games is an extremely pricey endeavor, particularly if u're not winning. I'd rather not say how much was gambled away while attempting to pocket these :( :x

And definitely Good Luck trying to hunt these down. The Hot Stamps are mixed in with plastics & Giant inlay RHCs, unfortunately all three versions are live and in the dealers' trays but the new Hot Stamp $1s are few and far between.

@CacheCreekCollector or anyone

Are there any casinos/cardrooms worth harvesting anywhere around bay area? Sacramento? Even out in Tahoe/ Reno? I was considering going all the way up to that hardrock joint for the hotstamps. But that sounds like a bust. Anything worth going for in NorCal??? I'm taking a family road trip soon and sure would love to cover gas/expenses with a couple racks here and there.

Nothing comes to mind @casinochipper22. The Oaks Club and the California Grand both use Bud Jones. I think M8trix Casino's chips are clay but this joint has the most ugly mold & nasty color schemes imaginable. And The Palace in Hayward recently just switched from very old bicycle tire THCs to some nasty plastic crap that's not even Bud Jones :vomit:.
The only Indian casinos that I know of with open poker rooms are Graton Casino and Thunder Valley. U may wanna check out their pics on the Chipguide before deciding to make any long drives to these tribal reservations. Hope that u have safe travels on the road & enjoy your family trip up to Nor Cal.

Thanks for the info. Maybe I'll try thunder valley and /or stones

Stones has great chips but at this point I doubt you’d find many sharp chips. Can’t really say though as I’ve never made the trip up there. @kmccormick100 could tell you as he’s played there pre pandemic.

I do like a few of the Graton chips but again, if they were worth harvesting I guarantee some of our local crew would’ve grabbed some years ago

Two nights in Vegas. I was only kicked off one craps table. I got two lectures/threats by one poker room floor and one cage supervisor at different properties. Everything else was pretty smooth.

A nice haul indeed!

What are the conditions of the Circus Circus $5's overall these days?

Anyone have a recent trip report for harvesting chips from Encore Boston Harbor? Can I walk out with a rack in my hand, or does it require more of an inconspicuous operation?

The poker hall is closed and so the cage is likely as well. For now that means no racks. When/if they open up fully again, I had no problem asking the cage for racks of anything however that was still when the LV cage managers (Brian and Cindy iirc) were running the show. They’ve likely passed it off to the full time Boston managers and who knows what their policy directives are now. As for the chips… they’re a good house mold that shouldn’t see to many RHC like nicks but they’ve been in play for years (plural) now so who knows for sure. I haven’t been since pre Covid.

Best guess is the watermelon/ black $2s are still good and the $10s/$20s as well. Past that is anyones guess however they were supposed to get new inventory in the spring when Covid started up.
