Good to know; I never noticed. Not sure how I feel about that in general, but I don't like the execution here.Cali $25s are purple.
Basically unavailable. Already sent a scouting party last year...... zero chips.
They are Golden Eagles. I'm holding onto them for now.Do I spy some Golden Eagles on the far right? I could use a couple of extra barrels, if you're looking to dump any.
Brand new today...

Definitely a love it or hate it pattern. The spot pattern on that quarter has to be one of the most hideous spot patterns I've ever seen.
I like those inlays, though.

Yes. And I feel like I'm seeing that spot pattern a lot lately on new chips. Didn't the New MGM in DC have a chip with that pattern? Are the Paulson folks giving a discount on it?The spot pattern on that quarter has to be one of the most hideous spot patterns I've ever seen.
FYI @bergs foxwoods has rolled out the new $1s.
I'll be grabbing probably 3 racks next time I visit, I have a trip booked for march. Weeeeeee
Damn, that is smart.I have had a few successful harvest attempts, I will tell the cage I am looking for a rack to present to my father in law for their anniversary, or we are there for a bachelor party and we want to give them to the groom as a gift. I have done it at the Wynn, Sahara (when it was open) NYNY, and Belagio.
its the same $1 except now its new. they replaced all the MGM sided chipsPics???!
Just a PSA,
A certain establishment that I typically harvest from (I'm assuming most of you can figure out which one based on my history of getting chips for people - I would GREATLY APPRECIATE if nobody mentioned this place publicly/in this thread with regards to me/this post) politely escorted me out of the casino today. Apparently they have been watching me in surveillance and were concerned that I was bringing racks and chips out of the casino and not returning with them. I don't have much more information right now, they weren't answering many of my questions on the spot and I ended up being a little defensive about it.
I was informed that in order to be able to enter the casino again, I would need to return [a certain quantity of] chip racks as they are casino property, or pay to replace them. I was given a contact number to notify security the next time I planned on going into the casino, and also so I could contact them with any additional questions. They did not mention bringing chips back.
For what it's worth, I was planning on bringing all racks back (I have an order in for Unique racks right now) and have been bringing a couple back every trip. The count I was given to return is less than the amount that I am currently borrowing, but all racks will be returned. The number is shockingly low based on how concerned they were about this.
I will no longer be harvesting any chips from this establishment unless I have already committed to doing so. I am returning the racks and will get more clarification on whether or not there is an issue with bringing chips alone out of the casino.
This is very interesting to me and it gets to a question I've wondered about - Do casino's have any right to tell you not to take chips from their casino?
Obviously they don't want you taking them out in quantity, but I wonder if they're hassling you about the racks because they can't hassle you about the chips.

You must have harvested a metric $#!+ ton of chips out of there if you were on there radar. And it looks like in the other thread you must have about 10% of their snappers too.....that might have been the straw that broke the camels back.Just a PSA,

View attachment 37444 View attachment 37445 Played on Fridays, bit boss tells me the $2 chips at the shoe are likely good for a while as rebranding process takes a while. Lots of the inlays are scored. No luck getting them to fish out minty ones....yet.
If you have any issues at all with the casino and harvesting, I wouldn't think you are "committed" to doing so any more. Not worth it to try to get chips for someone else by running the chance of getting banned.
At the same time, I admire your "Commitment to Harvesting"
