Another one of those... we all have different taste in chips... but no hot stamp sets in a collection "should" be a crime.... thinking 2 days on PCF jail unfortunately exactly when this sale happens! Haha

Made it back to NC! I sign a lease on a new warehouse today, so I will post some more pictures when I get them inside our new secret secure location. Here are some quick notes from the couple of boxes I opened. The chips are in really great shape. All of the foil on the chips is in tact, edges are sharp and all of the cross hatching is in great shape.

Great news! Have to say, I am surprised that you don't inspect condition prior to purchase... would have thought that would affect your offer price.

It seems like there is some distinct color variation on the green 25s… Is that just dirt that will clean off? My guess is that half of these got into play and half didn’t.

We never inspect before. Casinos don't allow outside people in the cage. I can usually guess on the primaries based on how long they have been in play. NCV are always kind of a surprise.

That being said, I was really hopeful about these chips being in great shape. I've been working on this deal for a couple of years. Originally I was told they had 3 sets of NCV chips and gave me a total for all 3. Then I was told they were only 2 sets and they were going to keep the WSOP chips. Then I was told they took out the 1s, 5s and 25s out of the set and thought they were destroyed. When I finally got the count last month, not only were the lower denominations there, but there were more chips in this set than they originally told me they had in all 3. I had no idea they had the higher denominations and asked for images and that's when I found out they were 43mm. Emotional roller coaster that ended better than I could have hoped for
