Greetings everybody I‘m Marc from Switzerland.
I‘ve bought a cheap Pokerset a few years back and played with friends occasionally.
Recently we‘ve started to play a lot more, almost every night we get the chanche to right now.
As is my nature I‘ve doug a huge rabbithole around the game and inevetebly found myself here trough the videos of Hobbyphilic, looking for better quality chips to improve the feel of my home games and satisfy the need for new shiny things xD.

I have to say, the community around Poker Chips is far bigger than I expected. Honestly the sheer amount of resources on this forum is a bit overwhelming.

I‘ve started looking for sample sets to get a feel for diffrent kinds of Chips, but found it hard to find anything thats sold in Switzerland or dosen‘t cost more in shipping than the actual samples themselves.

As I‘m currently a student in my last year I (saddly) can‘t spend a fortune on chips, but I have to get my hands on something or I will spend all my time on resarching Pokerchips instead of studying, I‘m sure you get me.

All that said I look forward to spend some quality time here on PCF and I hope some of you can point me in the right direction to find some good sample sets and probably spend way more money on my newfound hobby than I initially planed to (happens every time xD).

Welcome, Marc! Where in Switzerland are you located?

What are you looking for in terms of samples? Chances are, I can help you out.

Oh, you are going to fit in real well here. Welcome and enjoy the ride!

Hi cpac, great to see somone based in Switzerland! I’m from Emmental in Bern, studying in Lucerne.

I dont realy know what im looking for but would like to get a feel for some different chip types, like CC‘s, actual Casino grade Chips and Ceramics. I find the design of the Atlantic Club chips (not the hot stamped ones) and Majestic CC‘s very intriguing. For ceramics I like the look of those Tinas and the hybrid Asconas I’ve seen on Hobbyphilic‘s chanel. If you would have some of these or something similar laying around for sale that would be awesome!
