Help me design a frac for The Club House set (1 Viewer)

Or, now here's a thought, how about reversing the $500 with the frac to keep with the theme? That way, you can keep DG or Canary Yellow in there.

moonrise> winter> fall> summer> spring> sunrise

Which 1/2 pie fits with the rest of the set better?

Wow, just seeing this and I keep saying, "I like that one best!" for basically every option you've put up - well done. My favorite is the green half-pie from post #25 but the red one isn't bad, either. For me, how both of those look with the final inlay design will probably be required.

The problem with that is the $500 chip is a level 10 edge spot. Spending $375 for a rack is not going to be happing! I'm only going to be getting 20-40'of the $500 chip.

Plus it would throw the spot progression way off!!!

You could execute the same idea by changing the spots on that chip while using the same idea/inlay.

The frac could still represent moonrise but with the 1/2 pie, and the sunrise could use a more complex spot progression.

An 8D18 could definitely look like the sun with rays.

Edit - Added quick mockup (didn't put much thought into the colors, I know it's a lot of DG Yellow)

Mother Nature isn't making the decision any easier. Some google image searches for red vs green sunrises give some beautiful images for both. But I think a slight nod goes to the red/pink.

Prelimary mock up from @p5woody. Looking good already. This inlay is designed for the red/pink 1/2 pie but I put it on the green version as well for the hell of it. With the grass and leaves it still works pretty well I think.

As always, feedback welcome.

How does it fit with the rest of the set?

sure won't get confused with any of the others. :p

Personally, I like it. The inlay mates up with the chip as good or better than any other chip in the set. But YOU need to like it.

I really like how it matches up with the inlay. And so much of the set is designed to have the chip be an extension of the inlay art.

I'll see what other variations @p5woody comes up with. It's the final chip in the set, have to make it great!

Looking at it critically:

1. inlay meshes well with the chip colors - check
2. uses colors not already prominently used in set - check
3. uses a clearly unique spot pattern - check
4. can clearly be differentiated from other set chips in both stacks and pots - check

About the only con I can see is that the chip makes a very bold statement..... something that not all of the other chips do. But there are a two or three that are pretty loud on their own accord, so I personally think that it fits well in that regard.

The more I look at it, the more I like it. And the more I look at it with the other chips in the set, I get the same internal gut reaction.

You need to have @Ray-Col do a splashed pot render before making a decision. (y)

Looks pretty cool to me and is very much in keeping with your theme.

Every pot starts with a $.25 blind every day starts with a sunrise.

Sounds like a winning combination.

Plus bookends the set nicely with the $500 being a midnight (could say someone's night is ending when those get on the table) :sneaky:

Sorry guys - messed that render up and had to cut some stuff off from the top where chips stuck in the felt in the weirdest angles possible ...
I'll swap the render with a legit one when you're all asleep tonight. :whistling:

[EDIT] Fixed the image.
