High hand grumbles at private game (3 Viewers)

Wow, you're amazingly stupid. I never said those things nor did I quote anyone. My comments were directed at the people who are of the mindset that rake games are about money and not fun. Which given your subsequent replies doesn't even apply to you. But you need to make everything about you so good job self centered clown.
You @‘ed me in your response dumbass. I had no clue who you were until you made assumptions and included me in your response because
Do I care to read through 5 pages and quote specific posts? No
But my apologies, I misunderstood. Your comments were directed at other people, you just @‘ed me for giggles. Makes sense!

You quoted me here. So I replied. Are you high? Wtf is going on here.

I don’t agree here. Just because you’ve won some money doesn’t mean you should be forced into playing a different style because other people think that gives them a better chance to win that money. Will it change a future invite? Sure that’s a possibility, but they’re still currently at the game they were invited into and playing by all of the rules.

Being present at the table still involves risk. If someone raises pre-flop and that person has AA, are they folding away their equity? If so, then they’re giving money back in a much different way. If not, that money is still up for grabs.

If this person is staying and playing in any capacity it’s vastly different than taking all of the money off the table because they’re still getting hands and paying blinds.
I agree no one should feel obligated to change their style because they won some money, but if a player is typically fairly splashy and then just sits there folding for an hour to "not hit n run", but it still feels very much like a hit n run. If you're not going to play any hands, just leave and take whatever flack you get so someone who will play can take a seat

If it was my house, my game, I’d pay the bonus in cash and have the chips off the table tbh. Ur trying to reward anyone. Let this person book a win. It’s good for the game.
Valid point. Getting the $1K in chips then expecting the player to be reckless and donate?! A bonus should be paid out on the side.

He’s younger, definitely share your maturity with him, let him know the etiquette and expectations, and it’s ok if he can’t meet them, and it’s ok to not invite him back. For me I’d put them on the B or C list in regards to invites, I want players who are willing to mix it in and contribute to the action. Now if he’s really funny and an awesome presence in spite of how he plays, heck I’d have him back just for the vibes. It all starts with clear and considerate communication though imo
