Wow. Thanks for posting. I remember hearing about a game called “hold me” when I was a kid. There were a few farmers and car dealers that played it, and I never made the connection. I forgot all about it until you shared this.

The first casino poker tournament I ever played in was the Paris. This was early days and we had two tables of 14 to start. You literally had to squeeze in between two people, look at your cards, then slide out so someone else could slide in. It was a nightmare.

10 people at a table is way too many (9 is the max and 8 is the sweet spot), I wouldn't even think of playing with 12 (14 ).

For me the sweet spot for any cash game is 6-8.
