Horseshoe Casino - Cleveland Chips (3 Viewers)

Yup. I though hotstanps were pretty lame, until I got to hold a handful of TRK Hotstamps. And then I begrudgingly said to myself, uh, these are awesome.

Yeah, my first TRK hot stamps brought me over. Maybe it's the lead poisoning?

enough chatter!
more photos!
The weather was much better than anticipated this weekend so I really only spent about four hours cleaning. Good progress to report. Only about 1,200 more to go...

I use E6000 a lot on gemstones and glass

You lucky it worked on racks, E6000 dissolves plastic

Quick threadjack:
Here's what I did with worn roulettes that are now my tournament chips. I trimmed one of those cardboard poker chips, glued it to the inside edge of each barrel. Voila! Now 20 chips are a snug fit in each barrel.
I wrapped the rack with blue painters tape to differentiate between my cash set racks, and the tape also covers the look of the glue on the outer edge of the rack. I used E6000 glue, holds great.

@Tommy,

Can you post a pic stacked with 39mm racks? Also inside a standard birdcage?

Don't have any birdcages. My 39mm racks are Paulson racks. Still waiting for some chips arrive. Will take a group pic when they all get here.

I LOVE the $1k and the $5k. With the grand inlay, the 43mm inverted hat and cane mold feels like a good ole thc.
I just can't imagine why they decided to go with the giant inlay on the $25k. The color blue of that chip is so brilliant, and the spots on the primary provide such a stunning contrast to that blue, I just wish there was a little more exposed clay on this chip.

I originally wrote off the notion of building a tournament set with these as just too expensive. But now that I've held the $1k and $5k, I'm beginning to feel like I could justify that expense . . .

You're right......I re-checked after your post; I used 2-sided carpet tape and that's holding up great. I edited my original post about the racks.

I couldn't find it anywhere in the thread, so I'll go ahead and ask. Was the casino smoke free by any chance?

Most likely, but either way I can't have all their brothers and sisters get all cleaned and leave them in the corner like the ugly step child

Also, I received 53 special edition $5 chips out of 320 ordered :(

Guess I'll end up with at least a full rack of them buy the time I am done building this set.
