I am loving the bright green on the $25, and the spots on the $5 are pretty nice. The $1 hasn't grown on me yet but the condition of the $1's looks pretty good.

Thinking I'll be picking up
200 $1
200 $2
400 $5
100 $25

Nice little cash set :)

Kudos to the Paulson graphic design department on their perfect colour matching on the white and black chips.:whistle: :whistling:o_O

Man alive - I am praying I will be sober again until the sale is - else I will start 2017 broke....great idea to purchase chips drunk......just great.... oh well - lets see the prices and then I'll know if I can realistically plan to be in the market.... :whistling:

Random request @The Chip Exchange but can you post barrel pics like the others of the $2 and $2.50, thanks

I will be posting more pictures of the barrels cleaned and uncleaned. I'll make sure to include those denominations as well. I also want to make sure that the pictures that are on the OP are fairly representative of the entire lot so there are no surprises even though I know there will be varing conditions throughout. Please understand that I'm going to try my best to be completely transparent on condition of each denomination.

I am a chip collector first and formost, so I am very OCD about chip conditions and I understand why it is so important to be as clear as possible. But there are allot of chips to go through and I'm not sure yet how anal I can be about it. I will try my best though.

well I would be keenly interested in up to 1 rack of Sec. 5000k and up to 3 barrels of the sec. 25k - that would complete my spending limits for the entire 2017.....(y)

Those secondary hundo's remind me of the Terrible's St Jo primary 100 colorwise.

Fun fact: When they first opened, the 2$ chips were in play on the 1-2 tables. After a month or so, they took them out of play because they looked too much like black chips. After that they were only used for 6-12 Omaha 8. They are beautiful chips and in great shape.

Interesting that Cle and Cin flip flopped the 5k colors between primary and secondary chips.

Perfect time for the sale!!

Wifey: What do you want for Christmas?
Me: Nothing
Wifey: Nothing? Why nothing?
Me: Cos I'm gonna buy something later.
Wifey: Better not be poker chips.
Me: I promise, nothing poker related this year.
Wifey: Shall I get you a gift certificate then?
Me: Sure, find out if The Chip Exchange has them.
Wifey: WHAT?!?!?! You said no more poker stuff
Me: Yes dear, THIS year :)

A Canadian Wifey? @Wifey : Do you have something to tell @Gear ? ;)

I'm not sure what you mean by this. o_O:confused:

Just the spot colors: Blue/light colors vs Brown/light colors on grey. CLE I liked the primary and disliked the secondary. CIN, it's the opposite. The colors/designs of the other chips differences/similarities didn't jump out at me like the 5k's did. Probably because I do not prefer brown with grey.

Found the practical test given to all Paulson graphic designers during their interview process:
