Excessive? Oh yeah…definitely. But since it will be my all encompassing, forever set...I figured better to buy them early and buy a lot at TCR prices as opposed to have to hunt for them down the road at triple the price. Although I could use two more barrels of secondary 5K!

... these fracking HSIs have really, REALLY, REALLY grown on me. I mean, I know there's all of these RHC haters out there and many who bought this set to murder it ... but I dunno; I just like it MORE AND MORE every day...

Nice color combos and I think the inlays look good
funny how the "pseudo shaped inlay" shapes are just a design element on these secondaries and not meant to remotely mimic an actual shaped inlay
not sure I've noticed that on another casino chip before

Yeah, this was the first time I saw the shapes be more for art and less about faux inlay shapes. IMO, it's much better this way. I never really like the RHCs that used it to try to fool me. Some people disliked the inlays on the HSIs anyway and planned to murder them. OK, I get it; it's not like it's amazing. But still, it's not bad either - it really grew on me. Personally, since this is my ONLY consistent set from 1 casino, I will probably keep my inlays as they are.

And yeah, those colors... the Secondary $25 is simply outstanding...

I wholeheartedly agree. Seeing barrels and racks in person is a must. Personally, that is what it took for me to realize how much (way more than originally expected) I really like the (all secondary) HSI lineup.

Photos do not generally do them justice (with few exceptions, like those shared by @CLKin --- whose PCF avatar happens to be my favorite HSI pic so far).

And that's without a $5 or $5,000 -- which really add something to the color palette.
