Hot Dog Roller Pron (5 Viewers)

Dammit. Good idea. I bet Costco sells that shit. You know, the big can of cheese food.

Well i took the plunge, let's see if I really get it. I spotted a Hot Dog Roller that was priced incorrectly. The bigger model for just 30 bucks total no tax no ship. I don't want to jinx it so no more info until it arrives however they corrected the price after I purchased it. They will probably cancel on me but fingers crossed.

I wanna see a hot dog bun with top hats and canes and a hot dog with relish, mustard, and ketchup edgespots.
I googled spotted hot dogs....results were not what I expected. Spotted wieners was worse.

Best I could do on short notice:

And no, it's not a sandwich.

How did the taquitos and pizza rolls roll?
When I tried them on mine they didn't roll so I had to babysit them and roll them every so often. I think the taquitos I had might have been too thin so they sat too far down between the rollers to turn.
I tried egg rolls once. Same thing. They didn't roll but they weren't very round, so I had to manually turn them every few minutes. They turned out delicious though.

Hot dogs - roll fine
Butcher dogs that are bent - need help in begin
Taquitos in my pic - roll fine
Pizza rolls in pic - fine for most part, every once in a while 1 gets stuck for a few turns then starts again.

Note when things are frozen they can tend to get stuck more if they have some kind of anomally but then roll better as heat up.

Thanks to you guys, this will be making its first appearance at the tourney tomorrow night.

Can't wait.
Thank you again to all that have recommended these things. I bought it for poker night with my wife getting on me for a "ridiculous purchase". This past weekend, she asked me if I would bring it out for our oldest's first communion party that we had fully catered. Who's being ridiculous now?

I am firmly in the camp that this should be required hosting equipment, right behind chips, cards, table and chairs.

Also, stumbled onto this site, worth a look

You are absolutely correct. Glad you get to enjoy it with all your guests. :)

How did the corndogs work out? I've been thinking about doing that, but didn't want to muck it up.

I think they work great on there - nice crispy crust. I microwaved them a little at first to defrost and then put them on the roller. You have to watch them a little as some of them tended to fall off the roller.
