How do you call your Home Game? (3 Viewers)

Mine is called Puggles Poker Club. I love the dog breeds of pugs and beagles. But I use poker chips named after the Poker Chips forum. Guess I'll have design a new chip set with the Puggles Poker Club name!! : )

I have a knack of getting immersive in world building / creative writing.

The ECHO was originally named after an old series of bases I'd build while playing Minecraft with friends, but has since departed completely from that aesthetic and has blossomed into its own thing. Now it's got its own backstory, lore, etc. I'd say now the name more refers to it being a distant echo to most, tucked out of the way of the main casinos in the fictional city it resides in.

My home is actually a duplex. A 2 bedroom lower with a studio upper. I wonder where we play poker .....

My plan eventually is name it after my son Lincoln. Now I have a second on the way so I'll have to figure something out. Maybe my cash set will be named after Lincoln and have a tourney set named after my second son. Planning to stop at two but I'll be in real trouble if we have an accident baby LMAO

Sometimes I call my game poker; sometimes I call it cards. I have a hard time relating to this aspect of the PCF community - the game naming, the theming with all the accessorizing - it’s just not my thing. But for what it’s worth, when I almost ordered customs, I was going to label them Weymouth Poker, because that’s the name of my town.

And our group lived in college apartments called Ivy Apartments from 2002-2005, so I called our group the Ivy (apt) League Poker Series as a play on the Phil Ivey League poker training website

Lately I've taken to calling it the GODDAMM ATM.

Folks have been rollin' up light then rollin' out flush. WITH MY $$.

My forum name may suggest a certain degree of reptilian calm, but honestly, I'm starting to get a real case of the red ass.

Dammit.

Officially, it's the Zombie Poker Dinner Club. This is because We view ourselves as a Dinner club that also plays poker. From a technical aspect, 100% of your fee pays for dinner, and 100% of the prize pool comes out of my own pocket. Because gambling would be illegal here - but poker and prizes are ok.

As to why the Zombie, I have a much longer explanation here... (scroll down to "The Zombie" for a shorter read).

Second Friday Poker.

Because, we play on the second Friday of each month.

Gavin chair’s enroute with embroidery……..

Oaks & Ace Supper Club, checking in for roll call. After years of being a nomadic road game, playing wherever had the space amongst our friends group, I finally got out of the condo life and gave our game a home again. The house is nestled amongst over a dozen 300 year old oak trees. And we serve hot dogs for supper. I’ve been having fun with it, to say the least

My club is called the Thanks for Playing Poker Club. The club started as a home game a little over twenty years ago. At the time, several of us played online at a site called Ultimate Bet. Every time you got knocked out of a tournament on Ultimate Bet, it would show a pop up that said, "Thanks for Playing." One of the guys ( a drunk, obnoxious, and bitingly witty stock broker) started saying that to everyone when he felted them. So when we decided to form the club, it kind of stuck. I don't have actual chips to show you yet as they are still being manufactured but here is the set design. C'mon April...

Been hosting a weekly cashgame for more than 20 years now, moved house twice in that period. When people talk about the game or the place, they call it Sways, after my name / my place. So Sways stuck and became the name of the game...
I did get an order in for some custom CPC's with personalized artwork, but that will be a year out from now till I have them.

A shot of my BPT clays(ASM) I’ve had for 18 years now. The already posted ceramics are Chipco ceramics and a year older than the ASM chip set. I e hosted over 100 tournaments in my basement, that’s why it’s The Basement Poker Tour, or BPT for short. Also the source of my username here and in the past on the other chipping site.
