Stacks of 10, 20 when possible. Biggest denom visible. After that, it's pure chaos...

Low denoms left and right of larger denoms.

You have a better chance of finding a pattern in a Jackson Pollok painting.

I looked back on pics to check and apparently I do exactly the same thing.

Proper stack height and big chips out front are the only things that matter to me.

Barrels of $1s in front of $5s with $25s and $100s tucked away underneath in the back is anarchy and invites all sorts of problems.

I had a player once do this, despite be warned several times. I ended up throwing him out of a game after an argument developed because of it. Someone was heads up against him and asked for a count (knowing he hides chips). Villian responds with an exact amount, let's say $25 (I don't recall the details). Hero goes all-in, turns out villain had ~double that because of hidden chips. Villain ended up winning the pot, hero was irate. I decided that we didn't really need villain at the game any more and off he went.

He got banned at a different game not long after for not paying back a 4-figure loan. Good times...

I don't understand this poll. Are you assuming everyone stacks their chips in a single file line?

If I have around 120 chips or less, I make one or two towers. Once the towers start get unstable, I make triangle formations with 30-chip stacks.

Highest denomination in front or on top, workhorse chips to the right, and blind chips either on top with the highest denom or to the left. If game requires more than three different denoms, the other denoms are seemingly randomly placed.

Generally largest to smallest left to right with less chips/tourneys. In cash games I like to sit deepstacked, usually with workhorse chips on the right for easy betting, low denoms/fracs on the left because they only get used for blinds and big chips in front or on top depending on qty.

Not at all. It just seems that most of the stacks I see with three or more denominations were doing mostly what I do but some people didn’t. So I was curious.

High value chips go wherever they are most visible I take as a matter of law. Be that on top or in front of the bulk of chips (unless the bulk of your chips are a high value which is a situation I rarely find myself in).
