10-12 for me. 10 regardless of chip type pretty much, jump up to 12-14 if the chips are easy shufflers.

16 for me too. 20 is the desired amount but don't play/practice enough to not embarrass myself.

I like to have a stack of 20 and mostly shuffle the 20 but some times mix it up. I also switch to the chip flip a lot. CPC are my favorite to shuffle, then sharper Paulsons, followed by old school Chipco with worn Paulsons last. Oddly I am right handed but can only shuffle chips left handed.

If I told you, it wouldn't be a tell any more, now would it?

I understand that nervous player that shuffles badly while bluffing is quite easy to tell. But players that shuffle 3-4times a week and do it without thinking do you get tells from them ? Are saying that I should stop shuffling while in hand ?

14 mint-ish, 16 broken-in. (CPCs break in very quickly - Paulsons and BCCs not so much...) 18-20 is doable, but not very pleasant.

I hate shuffling anything other than real clays (Paulson/BCC/CPC/TRK.) Probably the reason I'm such a chip snob.

Am I the only one the shuffles odd numbers? I prefer 11 or 13. If they’re clean and broken in can handle 15-17, sticky casino chips are more like 9-11

Either 12 or 16 is my preference. I like to take a stack and split it into 4 stacks, shuffle two small stacks together, do it again, then shuffle the to bigger stacks together.

I can do 20 but 16's more comfortable.

Same with me on the left handed shuffle.

If they're TRKs, then 20 shuffles like butter. But if I catch you doing it with my Nevada Lodge set, I'll go David Miscavige on your ass!

Although I can comfortably shuffle with 10+, I actually prefer to shuffle with 4. Why, you may ask? Because then I'm able to do the "front and back," "chip roll," and this other goofy thing I made up interchangeably.

I’m a 12 chip shuffler. I like to break in half, then again so I shuffle 6 (two stacks of 3), then shuffle the two stacks of 6, then go all-in, then rebuy. (n)
