No names need mentioning, but I'm just curious how many folks have a permanent spot on your blocked list here at PCF?

For me, just one. There's been one or two others that have been close, but only one of them has breached my "Fuck off forever!" threshold.

I've had 2. No names mentioned, but both accounts were the same guy. Then I met him at a meet-up, and he is verifiably cool. His current account is unblocked.

I think the mouth has a filter that fingers don't.

I don't believe it's a two way street, no.

When someone is blocked you simply don't see their posts. If they create a thread, you see that it's created by the actual words "blocked user" and if you want to read the initial post you have to click to verify that you actually want to see it.

That's why my list only has one. I can handle a pretty high level of bullshit and trolling. That really doesn't bother me much at all. The one person I blocked was due to me perceiving him to be one step shy of a con artist. Nothing illegal and no blatant lies. Just slimy/annoying as all hell and purely self-interested while trying to come off as a contributing part of the community. I don't buy it and I won't have it.

2 different people have been on my block list, but none are on now. Both former blockees have become better community members and I'm glad I unblocked them.

There are some new members that seem troll like and stupid to me, but they restrict the trolling to appropriate threads, so they remain unblocked.
