For those that have (or have had) the Huntington Park $20 (or maybe other denoms)...

Does the inlay have a yellowish / off white tint? I'm trying to figure out if the inlays on those that I own have tinted over time or if this is by design because they're in excellent condition otherwise.

The pic below doesn't quite capture the contrast between the two inlays that you notice in person. The Horseshoe is stark white.

I always thought the older inlays tend to get discolored by age, but maybe it started out that way

I've got a couple racks of the used $20s and the inlays are a uniform color from chip to chip - so it seems they are off-white by design, and not due to yellowing by age, otherwise I'd expect to see variations of off-white. Take a look at the 2nd pic in my post below, the 9 chips are on a background of some white office paper, and the inlays are a little off-white in comparison.

I think it's actually the material that the older inlays were printed on. It's some kind of a thick fibrous vellum paper, very thick and hard to remove if you've ever peeled out an old inlay. I think they were an off white stock, unlike the bright white of newer inlays printed on thin bright vinyl.
