Thanks very much! I certainly can’t take that much credit...it’s a software called Mosaikify Plus, used for making photos FROM photos.
That, coupled with my own chip scans and the TON of images provided from @Sprouty, the chip stack images come to life.

So cool. So if I wanted to use my own chips for a mosaic, would a single sheet of several scanned chips (20 for example) with adequate spacing be ok or would that create too much extra work for you and you would prefer a single scan of just one chip?

My current database of chips is around 400. When I first started making them, I only had about 150, and it just wasn’t enough colors for the software to make a great image.

I haven’t done it but it is totally possible…any photo works.

It takes about 10 minutes to make, very easy. The hard part was getting all the chip scans together.
Cost is nada, zero.

What @Colquhoun meant to say was that it takes very many hours of painstakingly precise work to create a single digital image, but he provides it for free to forum members because what's the value of a chipper's appreciation against the need for him to provide for his and his brother's and sister's families which includes some 17 children even after a failed harvest and little Johnny's medical bills.

Lol, I can’t really do that either. I saw someone selling similar mosaics online but we’re using dice chips.
I thought, “there must be some software doing this”. After quite a bit of research, I located it.

So while I can’t take credit for doing it, I’ll acknowledge doing it better.
