I know I don’t have a card problem, because all my decks fit in one shoebox.
Well, except for those two decks on the side. And the four decks I have coming in the mail. And four decks I have sitting in carousels. Oh, and the two decks in my car.
(I know so many of you have more cards, but I just made an attempt to organize them, so the picture seemed mandatory.)

I love this. Your post perfectly captures my progression into madness this hobby. It all started out innocently as a few singles which I could keep in my drawer and then some sample sets which I could keep in my junk box and then I picked up a couple racks of $1s to kickstart my cash set. The entire collection has been migrating from box to bigger box since.

And I thought I was alone. I keep two set-ups in my car at all times. Usually, Da Vinci Ruote, jumbo index and Copaq 1546, jumbo index.

No I just keep forgetting to take them out. And they're only Walgreens clearance $2.50 Prestige decks. I wouldn't feel confident leaving plastic decks in a hot car in the summer. No warping issues?
 
Haven't tried them all, but I found the ones that worked best for my game. Got about 26 decks of Copag standard-bridge size. :)

EDIT: Including the amount it took to finally realize that standard was best. So plus 15 or so decks...

None as of yet. The decks are stored in hard plastic Copaq cases. I also keep my car in the garage or shade with the front windows cracked whenever possible.

I have to ask, how many have you tried? Because I've never understood why people like copags. In a vacuum, I suppose they're fine. But compared to just about every other premium brand, copags seem to lose, in my opinion.
 
Copags are very “easy” on the hands even after multiple hours.

Deal for 5-8 hours and you will feel the difference. Best feel for the $, Imo. there are much better but it’ll cost ya.
 
Love seeing all the cards. Have a paper deck in my car at all times, because you never know.

That might explain why they seem to be the most common cards in the lower end cardrooms I frequent. Makes sense. And I can see it. They have a similar thinness and flexiness to KEMs - they just don’t have that nice linen finish that I enjoy.
Funny story about Copags.
My first experience with them were some copags I bought on eBay. They were dirt cheap and branded to some defunct poker site that I can’t remember. I was assured they were genuine copags. But they were thick and stiff and not flexible, and the first time I used them, they sliced a buddy’s finger open. They had to be counterfeits. That’s what I thought copags were for a couple of years. Then when I started playing in cardrooms, they had copags that were thin and flexy. The problem was, these rooms used their decks to death. So these copags were beat and bowed and not at all attractive cards.
So that’s my experience with copags. And though neither impression is particularly fair, the bottom line is that I prefer cards with a textured finish. Copags don’t have it, so they can FO, as far as I’m concerned. But to each his own.

A setup should get you through a 24 hour period. I like @12 but that’s just me.

edit-that’s why I don’t mind paying rake.

I prefer Da Vinci's. Haven't had much experience with Modiano and none with Kem or Desjgn.

Curious. What are your top three favorite decks? (Manufacture/style)

If you like Copag so much try Copag made in Spain, should be more durable

I’d put KEM at the very top, if not for the bowing issue. But last time I checked, the storing them upside down under a dealer button method is working, so I may be coming back around to KEMS. My second favorite would be the desjgns on the modiano stock, so I guess that includes moduanos as well. Then I’d go with Piatniks.
 
KEM, Modiano Platinum, Fournier, DalNegro, Trefl, Cartamundi acetate

Never had any Angel's but heard they are good

I definitely agree with the first two. Piatniks are nice but I don’t think they feel much different than any PVC card though.
Pictured earlier are 12 individual decks of Kems stored upside down with a cut card and dealer button on top. The oldest decks are from 2003 &2006 with the others spanning from 2011-2019. They have all remained completely flat stored that way. The 2003 &2006s are the only decks that spent most of their existence NOT stored that way and didn’t bow. Others did from that era and earlier which is why there is a time gap ;)

We started using Copags originally simply because they were the only non Kem option at the time and were 1/2 the price. I found them fine and no one ever complained…but the colors do eventually wear down or bleed if played heavily and left in the box for extended periods. I have no issues with Copag but there are so many other options I don’t buy them anymore.
My favorite cheap cards on the market are Cartamundi CCPs that can be found on Amazon for around $10-12. Far better cards than Copag IMO

Good God man, why would you ever want to leave? If it's not worth doing in a spreadsheet, it's not worth doing at all!!!!
