I think I’m developing a ceramic fetish (2 Viewers)

I hated the first ceramics I played with but love @Mr Tree 's Paymaster set. So been playing with some ideas. But I need to get my business on better footing before I can look at chipping up.

I can help provide a bit of info, as I was part of CT at the time and participated in the original order:

The "American Beauties" chip set was started in 2005 as a Group Buy under the watchful eye of TenPercenter. The idea for the chips was his, and he contacted the artist (Greg Hildebrandt) for permission to use his paintings on the chips. Mr. Hildebrandt agreed, and even signed "Certificates of Authenticity" for GB members who purchased over 500 chips. The chips were produced on Nevada Jack's casino-grade composite chip and, once the GB ended, these chips were available through Holdempokerchips and Nevada Jacks. I'm not sure how many of these are out in the wild -- according to the CT thread, just over 31000 were sold to members, but that number will be low as these were available to the general public afterwards.

I believe the design for these chips would be owned by 10%er and Mr. Hildebrandt, so I doubt another GB would be possible without getting their approvals.

Here's my set of samples: framed, and with the original COA.
Thank you VERY MUCH for the information! Do you still own a set? I was lucky and picked up nearly 900, but I've only seen them come available once in the past 6 or 7 years.

Please let me know if you ever decide to sell those samples and the COA. You would be my wife's hero because this is by far her favorite set that I own :)
