There is no doubt in my mind that these are @davin's chips - I can vouch for the guy personally, and trust his story about # of boxes shipped with these chips / etc. I also can personally attest that Davin and I have talked personally several times about this missing box well before this thread was created, and his story has been consistent throughout.

With that said, if one was to insist getting all the facts straight, all the evidence collected, and put it up to an independent arbitrator for judgement before making a decision on what to do here - then by all means what @BGinGA said in his post a few pages back makes a lot of sense. For me, a common sense type of guy, I don't need that level of evidence to come to a decision of what the right thing is to do. In my opinion, and yes I realize that means jack, I think luv should give the chips to @davin, and @davin should do what he thinks is right to figuratively and literally say "thank you."

Good luck to you both (Davin & Luv), I hope you both find a solution that leaves you both satisfied.

If I put the pics or the video up of this Awesome Event I would eventually get rich like the Kardashian Chic and many other celebrities that post stupid shit and get ridiculously paid, then with all my proceeds I would purchase everyone's chip collections (especially your's @XBobdog :wideeyed:...Joker 5's...call me)and all would be mad at you and I both for suggesting & posting in the 1st place... No my friend, I refuse...I will refrain from doing so because I love everyone on this site and do not want to get filthy stinking rich and buy up all of yall's chips!!!

Just playing devils advocate. Why should he return the chips? He didn't steal them, we don't know that anyone did and the package was not insured...

If I bought chips that dropped out of your trunk, and you told several about how you lost them, from some random person in Antarctica for $50, and I was convinced they were your lost chips, better believe I would send them to you and not expect a dime in return, although if I were you in that situation I would want to compensate you in some way. In my mind that’s the right thing to do, and it’s not even close.

Just wanted your side. Also why would you give them to davin and not the seller? Shouldn't the seller be the one responsible for a shipment that didn't arrive?

After reading all this the conclusion I came up with is that Davin was never really out anything on the list chips. This is only my guess, but I am assuming that the seller of the chips took the hit on that box. Notice every time he says anything about it; he says no one was compensated. I know that if I was in that situation and was out that money I would specify that I paid for them and never received them but he doesn’t want to say anything about it other than no one was compensated. My guess, if he did give the chips to Davin they would be free to him and then he would sell them all for more profit. The funny thing is the only people saying to give the chips back to Davin are the ones that really know him or people that voted at the beginning of the thread before all the deception came out.

This is only my opinion from what I have read and mostly because Davin won’t really tell us who is out of actual money on the box. From the way I have been seeing him act toward luv I am almost positive if the tables were turned he wouldn’t even consider giving the chips back so why should he?

A good lesson from the experience is to be cautious when filling out customs forms. It sounds quite possible that these chips were confiscated at customs for one reason or another. I'd hate to see someone send gear their grail set to get some labels made only to have them seized at customs for not filing out the form correctly.

This but also the chips in my mind belong to the seller until they arrive to davin which they didn't so the seller should be the one screwed here for improper shipping and or not insuring the package. If I mail something and it doesn't show up I would be the one at fault if USPS was not willing to accept the blame and do anything, should not be a burden on the buyer.
