Ideas for a new custom set! (2 Viewers)

Looking for some ideas on a new custom set. I am a graphic designer, I already have made 2 other custom sets and just cant stop. I want to make something that gives luxury but also like an underground cardroom vibe like kgb. Anyone have any themes/artwork ideas they would love to see?

Going to choose my favorite ideas and make a couple sets!!

Here we go for a Blues Brothers tribute

• Do not use the Blues Brother name. Stay low profile.
• Cash game set
• 5 main denoms : 25c / $1 / $5 / $20 / $100. Using USD $
• Using 2 sides with different design because there is so many "things/items" to put on those.
• Using a casino name : "Palace Hotel Ballroom - since 1980"
• Using some moto on some chips in relation to the design/character and/or everywhere
  • On a mission from God. This should be the main moto.
  • Putting the band back together
  • Do you see the light
  • 106 miles from Chicago ==> On a special chip $106
  • We do both : Country & Western
  • etc. So many !!!
• Using some iconic characters
  • Jake & Elwood obviously
  • The blues mobile / BDR529
  • Ray Charles. He should be on the lower denomination as : the blind
  • Aretha ?
  • James Brown ?
  • The sunglasses ?
• The the main font text could use the original "The Blues Brothers" from the movie (with rectangles around)
• For the colors, can design some chips around :
  • Movie poster
  • Atlantic red & black LP center label.
  • The Poster "tonight only @ the ballroom"
  • ....
• Should think this for a 44mm hybrid Tina web mold (or an other ? but greek does not seems right here

PS : And for a 25c/25c Ray is the blind.
PS2 : forget the black 20$ bad idea

I had some quick and dirty first ideas for the labels like :
Just use this start as you want. I will not finish this idea.

In the back of my head I have a Mega Man themed set, but want to finish my first one before tackling it. If you would like to take a stab at it, here is what I was thinking. I was thinking a full ceramic face with a design like this

The idea would be to change the color to match the character. The "spots" would mimic the energy capsules or bullets he fires from his buster.

blue .25 mega man
white $1 dr light
red $5 protoman
green $25 roll (has green bow)
black $100 bass
purple $500 dr wily
orange/yellow $1000 devil

Batman! Huge fan. Could be villains and good guys. Black 100 fits Batman. Green is riddler. Joker. I could go on.

This image was AI generated. The lightning bolt is just a place holder. In a nutshell, Mega Man is a robot that was created by Dr. Light, and he fights other robots designed by Dr. Wily. The word credits seemed like a cool concept since it is a video game, but other currency is fine. Again, it's only a faint idea that I haven't had time yet, but this image I generate sparked the idea.

Ahh, i like the credits to bc of the digital bits vibe for sure. That helps!

Tournament will give us the best colors to work from and the higher denoms will look good with the villains.

Real question is, do we do classic or darker modern. I personally like the aggressive modern era that will be more fun for the adults that are playing.

Not specifically. Lot of iconic horror movie killers, could make for a very cool and unique set with colors and images. Just thinkin out loud, maybe spark some new out of the box ideas for you if nothing else.

The Bob's Country Bunker is brilliant, I think a set with that insert design alone would be fantastic. I think the taglines on the bottom of the insert design need to be larger to be readable in the final size.

it was not even an afternoon attempt. Just a quick first attempt to some ideas. So many things to be done to have a first proper setup.
