Not sure how to link a seller, but here’s one of his listings. Most of them are awesome casino chips that are priced at about 4x market. This one here is laughable because he’s trying to sell four dollars worth of commemoratives for a hundred bucks.

Everything he sells is ridiculously overpriced but (at least for single chips) he’s reasonable if you make an offer.
Ive had a few interactions with him and I havent seen much reason as of yet...
That has not been my experience.

I spend a while buying Foxwoods chips on eBay, so I know what they sell for. I offered him $48 for this lot. That’s $3 each on the singles, $7 each for the snappers and $13 for the fiver. Kind of a generous offer, at lot pricing anyway.
Didn’t even get a counter.

I asked him a month or so ago how many of a certain chip he had to sell. He is response was "one". At that time he had three separate singles listed of the same chip I asked about.
Here’s another link - it’s for a dunes baccarat $100, which Spinettis has in stock for $12 each. Maybe you can negotiation him down from $99.99 to a reasonable price.

I think a lot of the eBay sellers prefer to sell racks one chip at a time. Very frustrating given all the wasted shipping time and costs...
In another anecdote, he was selling a chip for $99.99.
I followed the listing, and he reached out to me with an offer of $55 (sort of reasonable). I didn't see it, it expired, and then a week or two later I made an offer of $52. He countered at $75 and wouldn't budge. Even after I told him he recently offered it to me for $55.

Claiming that shitty plastic replicas are "authentic" is disingenuous at best.
No it’s a flat out lie. They’re titled as “obsolete casino chips” and described as “authentic casino chips from Las Vegas.”
Again, Spinettis sells these for 40 cents apiece, so it’s entirely possible that he got the from Las Vegas. But the rest of it is lies.

Although it’s been noted here on PCF several times that anybody with any sense could obviously tell the difference between any tributes and actual casino chips, and there is absolutely no chance that anyone could ever be fooled. It’s just harmless “fantasy ownership” that makes less fortunate people feel way way better about themselves.
Even though you and I can see it from miles away, there are people who could easily get fooled. So no, it's not harmless embellishment, it's pure fraud.
