I was inspired when visiting family in Oregon to make a set with the same art style as some of the state/national park signage and wanted to create a set around chips with metallic gold and thus the GOLD MINE set was born.

Big thanks to @Gear and @Wifey for all the help with the labels.

Thanks to @Grandmasturkey , @Pinkdan , @Ben8257 , @Split , @dp68094 , @aggie , @XBobdog , @ReallyGoodUsername, @Lemonzest and others for helping me source these chips or help figure out what would work.

For all those who I promised samples, I'll be sending them out soon.

Very, very nice labels and overall set. Even mixed molds dont bother me, considering the gold spots on all chips are more important.. Great job!

Did you murder the empress fives yourself? How time consuming was that with the shaped inlays?

Again, awesome set. Coolest relabel I've seen in quite a while to be honest!

I would like a sample set!!!!

It really nicely done, i for one don’t mind mixing RHC & THC in the same set and I applaud you for mixing them for a customs set

The design is simple yet clear, not overly complicated which I like

The $100 is the “gold” denomination of the set for me

Congrats

Thank you!

Yes I did, 90% of them are very easy and the other 10% are still manageable. Just a matter of making a light incision into plastic, peeling off with pliers, then eyedropping on Isopropal Alcohol makes the label underneath come off easy. Just need a precise pointy stick to get it started without any damage, I used cricut tools. It's the chips with the inlays baked on like the PCA 1's that are the biggest pain.

Wow! If these were ever a thread, I completely missed it. Very nicely done! Label design is A+, I love em!

Love the inlay and the overall set despite my feelings towards what you did to those beautiful empress $5s.

This a fantastic example of how important inlays are with respect to bringing cohesion to a set.

Looking forward to seeing whatever accessories get added to this.

Congratulations on a job well done!

Congrats on the set! I especially admire how well the inlay coordinates with each of the chips. The inlay looks great on its own, but the seemingly effortless incorporation of so many of the base and edgespot colors deserves special recognition. Outstanding execution!
