It took me a few tries to get "converted" to V4, mainly with copying the guest list. Had to essentially add them one at a time as the personal links were all messed up when copy/pasting. Outside of that, it seems that everything is running smoothly now, so thanks @Al Azouri

Next time, try making sure that the range you are pasting does not overlap with the personal links column.

I only copy/pasted the name, email, and phone number. The links were all 1-2 people off, so the link associated to me had another person's name on it

Very strange. I think I reproduced it and found a way to work around it. It seems to not like that I renamed the Unknown status to Yet to Respond. As a workaround you can set everyone’s status to In and then do the cut/paste.

Ahhhhhh ... yes. Me too I have the same thing. Link and names are not on the same line.

I had a similar issue with Personal Links, but only when I messed up the pasting

At @krafticus suggestion, I copied all names and emails (I don't do texts) into an excel spreadsheet which I then sorted
by first name since that's the default for the guest list.
I copied/pasted about 10 guests at a time (name and emails separately) and it all seemed to okay with no issues

Newest version has been working so well! Thanks as always for your help.

It may be wishful thinking, but as an idea/suggestion for future versions, could a scheduling feature ever be created? I’m envisioning choosing a date and sending the initial invite, then maybe 2 weeks before the event it auto-sends a reminder? Another reminder a week before? And maybe 3 days before it sends the “game on” or “no game” text automatically? Unsure if this is unrealistic, but just a thought I had that would really make the sheet hands off.

That’s a great idea. Someone on this forum forked the code and did that. Sorry I don’t recall who it was.

From my perspective it would be a pretty big lift but not out of the question. I’ll keep it in mind.

Quick question but is this system only based on sending the invites from my email? I got this notification saying that ATT customers will no longer receive Email to texts

Hi, it’s AT&T. On 6/17/2025, we’ll stop supporting email-to-text messages. That means you won’t be able to send a text message to an AT&T customer from an email address. You can still get in touch with AT&T customers using SMS (text), MMS, and standard email services. For more info, go to www.att.com/StopEmail2Text

Yeah. I got the same thing and was going to post about it. You beat me to it.

That’s unfortunate. I think we are going to see more carriers doing that. I’m guessing they can’t keep up with spammers who leverage those gateways.

There are a couple workarounds:

1. Use the Twilio integration - unfortunately that’s a paid service

2. Use the Siri Shortcut - unfortunately that’s only works for iPhone

3. Switch to using emails only

Yeah super unfortunate! Appreciate all the work you've put into there comes another easier work around for this in the future.
