*me waiting on new sale announcement*
Told my gf how much I spent on this set and she said don’t you think that’s ridiculous, I said nope lolYeah too much work. I guess I'm lucky then. Wife really don't care. She say it's my money and I can buy what makes me happy. She actually encourage it because it's a hobby she see I really enjoy and it keeps me home. She calls my chips my baby. Im surprised she didn't comment or complain when she saw Jim receipt for the 2 lady luck sets sitting on the poker table. Lol, oops.

Isle of Capri in Kansas City next?
Love it! Anchoring. Unfortunately it's too late to introduce another more expensive hobby as I've already been married for 9 years. I used to spend money on modifying my cars, I'd argue poker chips could hold their value better, but had to end that in order to have a reliable car to move kids around.Mine got used to the gun collection, so chips are way way cheaper.

We don’t know if WV gaming commission would allow it whereas we know MO gaming commission usually plays ball.Wouldn't it be the WV property?
The agreement had Century Casinos pay $107 million to take over operations for the Isle Casino Cape Girardeau and Lady Luck Casino Caruthersville casinos in Missouri, as well as the Mountaineer Casino Racetrack and Resort in West Virginia.

Trade fodder and shuffle stacks....So just out of curiosity, why do people generally buy 5+ sample sets? Keep missing out on these each sale, and just thought it was curious.
Likely to get the sought after high denom chips without having to buy a few hundred/thousand chips. So just out of curiosity, why do people generally buy 5+ sample sets? Keep missing out on these each sale, and just thought it was curious.
That’s what I was wondering. Makes sense. Wasn’t sure if there was also some weird breakdown thing.Likely to get the sought after high denom chips without having to buy a few hundred/thousand chips.
Maybe spares? Probably not. That’s what I was wondering. Makes sense. Wasn’t sure if there was also some weird breakdown thing.

I just tell my GF a package is arriving.

"I'm all in"Or heads-up set of 5 chips of each denom.
Yeah, that was the fastest I think I’ve ever seen sample sets sell out. If the idea is to get those to the largest number of people who want them, there’s no reason why they shouldn’t be limited to 1 per customer.Likely to get the sought after high denom chips without having to buy a few hundred/thousand chips.

You joke, but if you grabbed 5 and had your second cousin grab you 5, you’d have enough fracs for a .50/$1 heads up cash set. And you could flip those half barrels of oranges and purples for lots of lootcakes.Or heads-up set of 5 chips of each denom.
I would say 2-3 wouldn’t be too bad. Similar to Jack.Totally agree. Maybe 2 per person. But 5. Crazy

You're the worst...I've gotten two to three sample sets in the last two sales.
I donated one of them to Tommy for a give away that was announced over the weekend. I plan on keeping a set of each for myself and use the others for give aways at the games that I throw.
Sorry for being so selfish guys....

I would guess that shipping logistics is one of the reasons.I wouldn’t disagree with the man of the hour, I’m guessing he’s got good reasons.
Yeah. I get chips without any drama.

During the pandemic I am shipping to my house, but I have a protocol setup to clear out mail late at night in order to minimize touching mail right away.
