Kill and Half-Kill in Stud Games (2 Viewers)

This all seems ridiculous complicated. What’s the argument against doing this? It’s simple and consistent.

Non-kill pots - everyone antes

Kill pots - everyone antes, killer posts double or 1.5 small bet (depending on full vs half kill games) and action starts to left of killer.

Yes, it is possible I'm making it too complicated. I just like the discussion though, that's all. I have been searching for an optimal way to implement kill in Stud on 2+2 and other poker forums and could not find one without drawbacks, as small as they might be, or at least a consensus. Casinos use different ways and online sites use different way. Again, I like to hear the arguments... Definitely not for everyone...

The argument against only having the killer posting a forced kill bring-in is that there will be less dead money on the pot vis-a-vis the higher Limits on a kill pot. With less money in the pot there could be less action. Yep, it could be small or even irrelevant. That's part of the argument. The other is that the killer is not being pounded enough. Maybe another irrelevant argument...
