Had started under another thread- taking some good advice to initiate a separate thread...

looking for feedback and discussion on the following-

Has already been suggested that the Red on Mandarin Red will not be as clearly different as the chip design tool suggests.

Just not sure if I want to change from the 4 character colors (Red, Green, Blue, Purple).

Here is the Gene Chip with Black/Pink or Black/White.

Thoughts??

And thanks again to those who already commented (@Machine @PixelatedPunk @allforcharity @Beakertwang @PlaidDragon)

THANKS!!!!!

Lord....

In mixing colors for more contrast (and trying to stay true to source-material theme without repeating on the Faces chips) I am now reconsidering to this:

1741634861781.png

thanks again in advance

I get that it's based on the band logo, but I don't like the denomination font. I see a backwards 2 for the $5 chip, and ZS for the $25.
I agree. And because the band picture is dark, I think the denominations might look better in white in a bold sans serif font. I would also move the numbers down over their legs instead of their torsos.

not a lot of room to move down with the $100-

played with a lot of fonts- will try your suggestions again...

THANKS!~

So to avoid running into the "no text/important graphics region" this is all the low I could get- so it is either here or centered...

Man, I wanna rock n roll all night and party every day! First an Iron Maiden themed set and now a Kiss tribute set!?!? WHAT THE HELL IS THE WORLD COMING TO!?!? What's next...Bon Jovi???

In all seriousness, I would be scared to have an inlay with such intricate and small detail. On the screen it looks fine but with a 7/8" inlay it's going to be tiny. What kind of ability does the printer that does the inlay have to print such fine detail? I would definitely want to test print some inlays before pulling the trigger. Just a word of caution. I am sure others here would have a better understanding than I do to those questions. Good luck on your semi-hard rockin' chips.

I like the 100s....
For other chips I would suggest more contrasting color schemes...just to honor the band, go wild

This looks great. The only other thing I see is on the $100, the two zeroes might look better kerned apart like the numbers on the $25 chip. Maybe just slightly tighten the space between the 1 and 0.
