Damn, really hoping for a cash set "package". Love both the primary and secondary $1. Primary $5 is on fire. I love both $100s.

Would actually look to pick up a different $25 and murder them all for a Gear relabel.

So many chippie souls will be crying out after this sale...

Going to be in Kanab, UT 5/18-5/24. 99% sure that we have nothing scheduled yet for Monday 5/23. It's nice to dream....

i assume that pricing on these sales normally reflects scarcity/demand, i.e. price per chip for the higher denoms being much higher?

Usually but not that much higher, Jim usually gets it pretty spot on to be fair, only thing you really have to worry about is the % limits

The sec $25 is absurdely boring. Everything else is great
Yeah the $500s were shocking. I can’t imagine playing a high stakes game and having to handle that kind of gunk.
On the brighter side, I’m sure these chips won’t be anything like that. Thanks to Covid, stuff got cleaned.

Story of every $25 lol

Prices are generally pretty much the same across each sale regardless of quantity available, but the low denoms tend to be most affordable because there is a higher quantity of those.

$1ish for primary $1's, $2ish for primary $5's and $25's, and $100's, $3ish for primary $500's, $7 to $10ish for primary $1k, $15ish for 5K, $30ish for $25k.

For secondaries, add a dollar or so to the price for each up to the $500's, IHC's tend to be $5ish more than the primaries per chip.

I was only on PCF for the most recent Black Friday sale (which I decided to skip, stupidly), where the Jack Cinci $1s and $5s were very affordable, but initial couple of TCR sales of those same chips were more expensive. Jim said he doesn't sort the chips, but do relatively nicer chips get sold first, and then subsequent sales are for dirtier/not as sharp chips for cheaper?

In my experience the quality of chips is mixed regardless if you buy early or late (and I've done both in multiple sales).

That's a lot of headache just to sort them out at that amount of chips. He'll probably break even if he hires someone to do it.

That's definitely what it seems like, which is why I was confused about some of the price movements:

March 2021 Sale:
$1 new $1.69/chip, $1 used $.89/chip
$5 new $1.49/chip, $5 used $.69/chip

July 2021 Sale:
($1 cleaned - $.79/chip, $1 used - $.69/chip, $5 cleaned - $.59/chip, $5 used - $.49/chip)

November 2021 Sale:
$1- $.59/chip, $5- $.49/chip

I get selling actually-new at a premium (maybe those were pre-sorted by the casino), and I guess the price drops could just be explained as trying to get rid of inventory, but even at the lowest 59¢/49¢ prices, there could still be a mix of sharper and more worn chips?
