How much do you think chippers would *pay* to spend a day at Casa de Chip Room, sorting chips presale?

Chip Room should host a meet up when new chips arrive.

The chips would be in play for the main event tourney and the prizes are a split of the chips in play instead of payouts.

should be 2% of your primary or secondary chip order. so if you want 20, thats a thousand chips

If anyone is going after the higher denoms and has room in their order, I’d love to jump in for some of the lower denom chips (1’s/5’s/25’s) to meet percentages. Please let me know! I’ll post this a few more times up until the sale starts.

I agree. However, that is way more work and money than what I will be investing into this set. I'm lazy, I hate murdering chips. Label over chips don't work for me.

Maybe it’s the lighting on many photos, but it almost looks like the green in the primary 25 is washed-out or faded looking.
The secondary is definitely a darker and less bright color, but certainly more saturated than the primary.

That is exactly what it looks like. If the spots were better on the secondary then it would be an easy choice for me.

Yes. You can scroll back a page to see the pic I posted last night of the set with a cleaned and oiled $25. FWIW, I’ve never seen oil have less of an effect on a chip than it has on this primary $25. That chip just doesn’t care about oil!

I haven't paid attention to them honestly. My .50 cash game rarely gets any 1k chips into play

I just went back and checked them out. Shit, I agree with you. I prefer the primary 1k. The bear claw 1k is meh.

My primary $1k seemed to have a lot of dirt on it and also what I thought was color transfer. I gave it a quick but vigorous scrub with a magic eraser. That restored all its amazing blazeness, to where it was about as impressive as the secondary. There were still a few tiny spots of either transferred clay or stubborn dirt which strangely wouldn’t come off. A soak might do it, but it might not, and I don’t think I’d want to risk fading it.
So, while I don’t love the spots on the primary as much as the glorious slothclaw spots on the secondary, it cleans up to such a glowing blaze that it is GOOD.
