It's not just the pictures, this is exactly how it looks. Even after oiling it looks faded and pastellified.Maybe it’s the lighting on many photos, but it almost looks like the green in the primary 25 is washed-out or faded looking.
The secondary is definitely a darker and less bright color, but certainly more saturated than the primary.
Can confirm. It's not just the pictures, this is exactly how it looks. Even after oiling it looks faded and pastellified.
Damn. I honestly was meh af with that p$500.If I were going to do this, I think this would be my line-up.

Definitely 100% relabel, so more like this…

Definitely feeling the sec. $25 as a potential frac. Really difficult to choose which $1 I like more.
Something like this perhaps, with one of the $5ks as a $100?

What do you guys feel about the $1ks?
I see a lot of love for the bearclaw secondary, but I'm not really feeling it because of what looks like a bit wierd color combos on it...
I agree, the primary is way better. It’s pretty much a replica of the detroit sec 1k, right? What do you guys feel about the $1ks?

Here are the $25s with all other Paulson green chips I have.

Solid point label masterThe $25 primary isn't helped by its inlay being more saturated than the chip color itself. With a better-matched inlay (or no colormatch at all) the green might look less weak?
I'm sold. I didn't like it before I received the samples. But after cleaning it up and putting it on my tables, it's a better chip.
And to be clear, I'm not saying "everyone should label those" ... I'm just saying the inlay has an effect on the perception of the chip. Context matters, for color. The $25 primary isn't helped by its inlay being more saturated than the chip color itself. With a better-matched inlay (or no colormatch at all) the green might look less weak?
Its a fair point, for sure. I wouldn’t say that I’m in love with the combo either, but neither of the $25s speak to me and was trying to find some combo of the Grand chips that worked. The black $20 outside of the Cali color range throws me off a bit. Especially paired with the red $5 and white $1.
Sure, buddy. Sure.I'm not saying "everyone should label those"
This is exactly what I'm shooting for as a T5 tournament set. I'll buy whichever $1 is cheaper, which I assume will be the primary. They're a coin flip for me, and will probably get sold.My line up after seeing samples. The $25 cleaned up and in person and in my lighting it's a better chip for the set.

Secondary is Day Green. Primary is Lemon Green. Per Jim.Maybe it’s the lighting on many photos, but it almost looks like the green in the primary 25 is washed-out or faded looking.

Get both $100s and you'll have secondaries
Move up 9 posts from yours where Craig cleaned one up. Got back a few pages and someone else has also cleaned some up.I’d be curious to see the primary 25 after it’s cleaned and oiled… should bring the colors back
Now THIS is a winning answer!!!Get both $100s and you'll have secondaries
I’m probably not going to participate in this sale. I’m not blown away by anything and I still have a B-mold order on the way as well as a cards mold order from a group buy I actually forgot about ha. I don’t need more chips…Move up 9 posts from yours where Craig cleaned one up. Got back a few pages and someone else has also cleaned some up.
They look like CRAP! Don't buy them!
Hmmmm, repeating spot pattern on the fiver and thousand though...
