nice win, Mark. maybe i'm fortunate that i didn't get home until there were about 10 minutes to go in the third. hopefully we can pull ahead again in tampa...

Anyone watching this Blackhawks Ducks game? Shaw head butted the apparent game-winning goal in double overtime Lionel Messi style, but the officials correctly (and unfortunately) waved it off. Pretty exciting game.
 
Yeah. I'm watching it still...I've thrown my jersey about a dozen times. Keith is just dead tired and Oduya is just F'n useless. Shaw and sharp are having a great game. I'll pick one if them for the winner. Otherwise Palmieri for the ducks.

Game is ridiculous. Head butt goal was the nuts. Agreed right call though. Rooting for Chicago, but I'm afraid the Ducks look better in OT.
 
Off topic: Babcock to the Maple Leafs! Love the guy, don't get me wrong... One of the top 3 or 5 coaches around imo... But for 6million?!?!? Toronto can have him... Maybe he's THE guy to turn things around there... Wings will be fine :)

Very surprised he went to the Leafs - lots of work to do there and salary cap issues as well. Will also be playing on the same division as the Red Wings. o_O

Imo, two reason Mark... One big: No other team would be willing to pay ANY coach that amount of money. He was making 3.2 here in Detroit so he's almost doubling his salary... And one a bit smaller: Whether we like it or not, Toronto is the Mecca of hockey, so there's something to be said about going there and turning things around... If he win the cup for the Leafs, he'll have a statue dipped in Gold in his name...

It really is bad. I don't have a horse in this series but it seems every time I see the Rangers in a defensive role there is someone diving or embellishing. At this point of the season I would like to see heavy fines for teams and players to stamp this crap out.
It's getting a little too much like soccer and that's without Shaw's header last night.:p

Wow this game was the SOHE of hockey. Mark you had quite a sweat after what appeared to be a lock. Gooood stuuuuff. This is my first year watching hockey, finally it has stuck.
