My very humble submission.

Calling the following... I know you have newly acquired 1500+ Horseshoe limit sets that look phenomenal...

@Payback

@bergs

@RainmanTrail

Let's see 'em fellas...

I started out going after a limit set of the $1s, then when I bought my first couple of racks of snappers to use as quarters, I switched gears and decided to build a snapper limit set instead. I'm not sure yet if I'll keep both limit sets or just the snapper set. But here they are, enjoy... The 25c blue chips are a relabel obviously. Also, the rack of $100s are relabeled as $20s. I have about 1660 snappers, but 220 of those are tri-moons. Eventually I'll land on 1600 8 spots as my magic number. There are 3520 $1s in the pictures, and 480 $25s for 4000 total chips (I have a few more, but this is the "set").

"That's Rickdiculous." - Rich Sanchez, "Rick and Morty"

Seriously, I feel like that guy from "Gladiator" the first time he saw the coliseum, "I didn't know men could build such things." I guess this explains all the selling of your other HS chips - you had to fund this monstrosity!

I finally finished labeling the rest of this set. It was much easier than going over the inlay of the HS snappers I did to make quarters.

Having a full recess to catch the label makes a big difference for sure.

The set will be seeing it's first action on Friday night for a $3/6 dealer's choice circus game.

I too enjoy limit as sometimes I like to find my way back to a 2/4 table when my NLH game is struggling and I need to find a game to get my confidence back.

This is a total noob question...but what differentiates a NL set of chips from a limit set? Just more ones and fives?

Basically yes. I had a regular 5/10 fixed limit game for years. Never had enough $5's

A limit set typically contains only two denominations as you'll see in this thread. A base denomination and a value denomination that is typically 20 or 25 times the base chip.

It's also recommended to have a 2 chip / 4 chip structure at a minimum, meaning you want to bet 2 base chips on first 2 rounds and 4 base chips on second 2 rounds.

So for games like $2/$4 or $3/$6 (or maybe up to $4/$8), your base chip would be the $1 and your value chip would be the $20 or $25.
