Just wanted to use part of ovo's set list to partly illustrate the 'golden age' of ChipRoom casino set acquisitions... AND there were several other casino sets offered by Jim during this time frame, as well (plus a few epic Paulson and BCC group buys, along with the PNY and Casablanca releases by others, and several new china clay offerings):



No less than fifteen quality sets flooded the market in a short 3-1/2 year period, about once a quarter on average. It was glorious.

That is interesting to examine, I put the original dates of release on Delta Club and Bremerton Lanes, which I got from you. All the others were gotten on release. Does anyone know the Mesquite Star history? I got mine from Jim, but he didn't bring them to market.

I remember @noblecountydanny selling the Mesquite stars on eBay for about $65/rack. Like an idiot I passed on them because there weren't any $1's available.

So he should know the history I would think.

Does anyone know the Mesquite Star history? I got mine from Jim, but he didn't bring them to market.

I remember someone telling me at one of the chip shows that one of the Chip Club members bought out the rack. I never followed up about a set though as i was focusing more on single chips. i'll try shooting him an e-mail asking about the story.
